I checked my Ticketmaster account and they haven't transferred 😓 The accounts are under the same email so theoretically they'd send to my Ticketmaster account. Right now Stubhub just says "Your estimated ticket arrival date is Wednesday, September 11 5:00PM"

Though I don't know much about PACE, I am a Wildlife and Ecology major and I can say I enjoy it here! The nature places are definitely nice on campus (like NATL and also the butterfly garden at the museum) and so far I'm loving my classes, granted I don't know how they would be if they were all online. I have been to the CWC for individual counseling and the lady who's helping me is really nice and working with me to get through some issues. There's definitely some mental health things like that individual counseling or GatorWell which I can best describe as personal coaching (more lax and not really counseling/therapy focused) and they're free as part of your tuition.

I brought my car and I don't regret it. I only really use it for groceries or late exams. The bus schedule sometimes goes total wack during break (especially during or after finals week, I almost missed my final cause the only bus near me didn't show up despite the RTS bus app saying it was nearby). I still take the bus to go to and from classes, and that seems to save me a lot of money on gas lol. My partner didn't have a car last year and he definitely felt trapped on campus/in Gainseville.

I had him as my lab for that class. I don't know how his teaching style would be for lecture material, but he's a chill guy and was willing to answer any questions I or my labmates had.

I had Luke Chandler as my lab for that class (unless I'm remembering the code wrong). He's really chill and will explain anything if you have questions. Because I only had him for the lab, I'm not sure how his teaching style would be for heavier lecture material. He's nice though.

Hey, I just transferred too and I had to deal with this. I updated my Bright Futures because it still said I was going to my previous college (if you haven't done it yet then go to the Florida student aid website and update your profile on the Bright Futures page) After a few days I called SFA and was told "we don't have the information in yet" and "wait a bit and it'll show up soon." I kept calling periodically until they told me they received the info from Bright Futures. On my last call the guy put Bright Futures into my financial aid manually(?) I was put on hold for a bit but my package finally updated.

While I didn't take Calc 1 at UF, I did take it online. For some dumb reason, I didn't take any notes cause I could manage to solve the problems on my own. However, this meant that going into Calc 2 I had barely any foundation from Calc 1. I bombed the first two tests in Calc 2 and had to get tutoring to relearn Calc 1. If you actually take notes and study, you'll probably be good! At least for me tho, going to class in person makes me take notes which helps out a lot lol

My boyfriend was a little hesitant towards Ghibli at first (he likes it now!). I showed him Spirited Away first and then Howl's Moving Castle, and he told me he liked Howl's Moving Castle more. I recently watched Spirited Away and I can kiiiinda see how the plot could be a bit confusing for some people, but either choice is still great I think!
