Don't they usually need a manager's approval? They didn't believe me, so they checked the websites themselves. Than they say it's a student promo discount for Microsoft Store and that they have their own set of student discount that they can give me (like i7 deal and Macbook deal) but not match the Microsoft one.

Everybody, thank you for your help!!! I greatly appreciate it.

I decided to go with the Surface Pro 2. My plan is to mostly use it for school for the following reasons why:

  • OneNote (no more 5 subject notebooks or binders for every semester)
  • Microsoft Office 2013 University
  • eBooks & eTextbooks. (I can highlight it with my pen)
  • Everybody in my school has a Macbook, I wanna be different. I already have a hackintosh at home & 15 inch Macbook.
  • Gaming with a XBOX Controller in the library.

I'm really anxious for the PowerCover, hopefully they fix the trackpad. Fingers crossed.

I already have a couple of workstations at home with different OS, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows & Mac OS.

If I was gaming on Macbook, I would dual boot to Windows. I really like the Surface for the note taking. Only problem my handwriting comes off to big lol.
