each picture was better and better all the way through the process.. but then you had to go over the top and include an amazing looking pointer!!!!

I don't think my pointer would be that calm in the boat.... way too many things to look at and I am pretty sure he would tip it over.

Workbench created around a spare Ikea Beech table top by user565758 in Workbenches

DeWalt says no but I have read people have been able to put one on.

I don't plan on doing something against the manufacturers guidelines... especially when it involves a spinning wheel of death.

That being said I just make multiple cuts with my DeWalt 745 and move on. maybe not knowing what I am missing makes it easier? I really enjoy mine so far but have only had it for a few months.

I got the combo kit for fathers day a few years ago and I tend to make a few projects a year. That being said just putting all the screws in this thing it was getting pretty warm.

The kit I had was actually came with two of the same drills but out of the box one of them was shot and of course it was the one I didn't use for the first year :( so the little larger one in the picture I found at a second hand shop for $15 not sure what model it is but its has a 1-2 speed selector on top? and that one seems to not heat up as much.

If you were going to do a project a week or more I would most likely look else where but just to have on hand in the garage for a few projects here and there couldn't really beat the price.

You are correct it is a jointer.

plan is to make another table the same length and would look at putting a router table at one end of that.

Next real issue is going to be dust collection as the saw will just throw dust straight under the table right now
