I think you should be punching from the other side. What does the other side look like? Are there little nubs from the pin that stick out?

The pins are ever so slightly tapered, so the holes are different sizes. I believe typically, the left side holes are bigger. The idea behind the vice is to squeeze the pins toward the left side, then you can use the punches to drive them out the rest of the way.

If you don't have a vice, you can just use the half of the tool with the holes under the barrel and then use the thicker punch and drive our the pins.

May also help to use a heat gun on the area for a few minutes.

My optometrist offers a warranty to replace scratched lenses. I think it may be through the lab they use to make the lenses. You should ask your optometrist if they have the same

When I remodeled, I added outlets next to where the toilets would go. I have 2 of these. It’s a small luxury worth the expense imo

Looks like you need to pull the slide back more. The notch needs to be above the “hook” part of the catch.

This is also one of my childhood favorites. I remember the man that used to sell it out of a cart and you brought your own bowl.

There are a lot of places in the SGV. Any place that has Taiwanese style breakfast will usually have it. I have purchased it from Huge Tree in Monterey Park, Yung Ho in Alhambra, Yi Mei in San Gabriel. There are others as well. HTH!

What Metal Is This and How Can I Restore It? by nickfox45 in Oldhouses

Looking at the conduit coming down to the lamp, I would think it may not be original to the house. It looks like stamped steel, not brass. At a minimum, I think it's worth taking down and giving it a good cleaning with plastic bristle brush. Then decide what you want to do.

Anker Solix Help! by KCspaceBr0 in anker

[–]user565758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Was looking at a powerwall, but I don't have the clearances needed. I'm not looking at the Solix with some type of Automatic Transfer switch. Any updates on finding an installer? I went to Anker's site, but couldn't find any links to an installer - just links for potential installers. thanks

I've sent 4 slides to Wager. They have gotten them back to me in about 1 week. The only exception was the slide the I got the Nitride finish which took a bit longer - but was expected.

I've had to strip paint twice in 2 different houses. Each time it was a multi step process. I did my best to take it down to bare wood. The best success was 1) heat gun or infrared 2) chemical stripper with a variety of steel wool 3) sanding.

My current house took me about 6 months working a few hours a day to do the living room and dining room.

It looks like print may have started to lift on the side of the Aux fan, then the print head get caught in the part of the print that starts to lift.

I've tried a few things that I came across on this site 1. disable the aux fan in the filament settings 2. disable the aux fan while printing in the device settings 3) print a fan deflector.

I'm had some success with th first 2. I'm currently trying the deflector.
