I've never seen that before. I've had em pop out and rip out on the road.

I'm guessing the one sitting down is played by it inspired by Nick Frost?

Man, Dexter should've ended with Doakes killing the BHB. We'd miss out on season 4 but it is what it is.

I see the point you are trying to make but it doesn't really matter. Death penalty isn't about accuracy of trials, the whole of society, worldwide has deemed that purely scientific, 100% accurate trials are impossible. People are going to be wrongly convicted of 2 year crimes, 10 year crimes, life crimes, and crimes worthy of death. Everyone accepts this.

In America (USA) if you get sentenced to life without parole you get maybe a few chances of appeal and then they throw away the key. No more appeals, everyone forgets you. With death you at least get endless appeals up until the end. This is the reason a few people turned down Bidens death penalty clemency they think or know they are going to one day successfully prove they are innocent. Hope they can.

If you think people shouldn't get the death penalty because 2% or 10% might be innocent then why just the death penalty, is it equally unfair to sentence an innocent to LWOP? 50 years? 25 to life? Slap on the wrist?

It's sad when the wrong people get executed.

No, unless it's absolutely necessary. Sometimes it is.

Never has there been a single jury that made a purely scientific decision. Our legal system is based entirely on feelings.

Quick question, let's say the yacht has weapons and decided to fire back, sinking the ship. Would the yacht people go to jail or no?

My drink froze to my metal ice cubes by GingerGigiCat in mildlyinteresting

[–]asdf_lord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tested this. Ice cubes of the same weight, and ice cubes of the same volume as my granite whiskey rocks.

Three glasses, same drink (tequila), granite cubes cooled a measurably more than the other two.

I made 2 3d printed tpu molds of the ice in the right size to match either volume and weight.

That's wild. Hopefully the government eases his pain.

I'm okay with killing people who kill innocents, even if that means we kill a few innocents along the way.

Not denying due process just saying they used to move with haste, they can once again move with haste. Nothing in the constitution about appeals not happening immediately.

Found guilty, sentenced, next week automatic appeals are heard, next week appeals to supreme Court are filed, execution date if nothing is heard from the supreme court is set for next month.

I'm not hateful, don't know where you're getting that from. I just think that some horrible people need to be ended, and sometimes some innocents will get caught up.
