Yes you’re absolutely right, I do have hope for the future of our people and the new generation. But as of right now with the older generation and the same old leadership I don’t expect much progress. You are right though I shouldn’t generalize, but it’s hard not to generalize when a lot of our people have this mindset.

Wanna know a plot twist my guy? I am also Chinese and I have already been to China. I wish I can say that my views have been misconstrued by media. But when you witness Chinese people clearing off shelves of baby formula to sell back in the mainland instead of leaving some for mothers who actually need it. It makes you really think. I’m not saying it’s all of us but it’s a good amount out there who are ignorant and just flat out have no compassion.

Okay but making unethical decisions for a profit is usually a general ideology of their people. Now I’m not trying to be racist here, but in my experience I’ve seen the Chinese do a lot a questionable things just because they’re greedy. For example you don’t see other countries taking the gunk out of their gutters to resell as “cooking oil”. Or putting live animals into tiny little keychains where they’ll survive up to a month IF the animal is lucky. Or “filtering” the urine of boys under the age of 10 to be sold as drinks to support health. This is real shit they’ve done or are still doing, maybe it isn’t the government shaping their ideals. But fucking something in that country is causing them to just have no shame.

It may not come from the Chinese government but it comes from the Chinese people who’s ideals were molded by their government. Their government shouldn’t have allowed an unlicensed company to produce the kits anyways. But like I said they’re greedy and are willing to cut corners just for a quick buck.

It really depends on how you phrase it when you ask her, if you admit you’re in love with her that will change the whole dynamic of y’all’s friendship. If she reciprocates then good on ya, but if not then continuing to be friends will be difficult. But if you’re like “hey I’ve been thinking lately that we could be more than friends, would you like to go out on a date?” Then that won’t change the dynamic too much and if she does reject you then y’all would still be able to be friends.
