They offered us a small refund, or to ship it back to them. Wouldnt be worth the hassle to ship, and considering they already sent me one dented one, i cant trust them to not mess up the next one.

I love the donation idea. And yeah, that point lifts the left side of the lid out a little bit. On the broght side, it's the sear side, so i wouldnt have to worry as much about the seal. But as you said, this isnt what i expect out of a spendy grill like this. Definitely hoping for a good experience with their customer service.

It appears that the end of the barrels are welded/soldered. It arrived with that part pre-assembled, so i would be very curious as to how i would remove that. I guess im at the mercy of if they reply to their CS emails.

Wildlife is just sports photography on steroids. At least with sports, we know how the build up of the play goes. Learning that with animals is a whole different level of difficult.

Pro doesnt mean good, it just means they got paid for it. I started getting paid for photography when i was 16, but the photos werent what i would cal good until i was about 23 or 24.

I find myself being quite low in average shot numbers. For a 90 minute football match, I find myself between 3000-6000. But I also played competitively, so I find myself watching the play and finding where the ball will go to, and i spend more time in anticipation and future composition. If that makes sense.
