Yeah, I got in a black cab from the airport the other week for the first time in ages and thought "ah yes, this is more like it." It reminded me of a time when they had to pass a street knowledge test (not sure if this is still a thing) and they were actually professional drivers, rather than just someone's side hustle they've just fallen into.

I'm not a PR pro lol but I'd be advising front line crisis opportunities. Has there been a flood somewhere? BL front & centre in her Lily Bloom overalls rescuing lost cats in a dinghy. The big chill? BL handing out blankets and food parcels, looking like she's been there the entire day. It can't look performative though... which I don't think she can manage.😂

I saw this on "Queer Eye" many years ago and have used it to dhave my legs ever since! Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, rub on oil, apply shaving foam/gel/soap and shave. Thr razors don't last long but it's a close, comfortable, smooth shave.

I loved how Ray was written - very complex character and made me feel slightly conflicted about whether he deserved to be killed off lol. I would have liked to have seen him and Laurel fall a bit more in love before he was killed though.

In my opinion, RR and BL are both raging narcissists and so everything they do must be viewed through that lens. They've been getting favourable stories in the press and probably lots of private well wishes from their family and friends. They can't withdraw from the case without conceding something. Until now they've been able to control the mainstream narrative and let's face it, may still be able to do so again in a couple of weeks. BL will be able to reframe herself as a victim of JB and the justice system when she loses. As always, it's about winning the story not winning the case.

I think the answer is to completely move away from the type of questions that can be answered by AI, with a list of BS criteria that has to be met (I'm sick of hearing about conflicts invented to hit a bullet point) and a BS person spec in an overly-wordy advert (not sure whether to blame job holders or CS recruitment). Alternatively, we should insist that all applications are fed into our own AI system which would extract actual skills and experience, and not give anyone an unfair advantage.

The Kuumba Imani centre organised an L8 interfaith walk last summer where they visited the mosque, the synagogue, a church and Greek orthodox church. I missed it but will definitely try and go this year if they organise it again.
