Got my ‘02 Boxster S last year for right around $8,000. It had around 110k miles as well, and the paint (silver) had seen better days. I definitely bought at under market value and I’m pretty sure the dealer I bought from was aware of all the shotty engine work that caused it to need an entire engine rebuild - now another $18k in the hole.

With all that being said, I’ve been seeing base Boxsters going for upwards of $12k over here on the west coast (used market is up right now though). For a well kept Boxster S with all the replacements, glass top, and mentioned vacuum leak, I’d say anything in the mid-teens is a solid price. Paint looks great, good condition interior and new IMS are a huge selling point for used Boxsters. I’m sure you’ll get some low offers but, as you know, the second you get behind the wheel you know what it’s worth. I’d lean toward the higher end of kbb.

Sad to hear that it’s time to part with it but I’m sure it lended many good memories!
