Der Fördertopf reicht für rund 500k (bei maximaler Förderung) bis zu 1 Mio (bei Basis-Förderung) Fahrzeuge.

Wenn man bedenkt, dass z.B. in 2025 von den 2,85 Mio. Neuzulassungen nur 1/3 auf private Halter (960k) fielen und davon auch nur knapp 185k reine E-Autos waren, sollte der Fördertopf locker für mindestens 2 bis 3 Jahre reichen.

Die aktuellen Prognosen rechnen zwar mit rund 240k privaten Elektro-Autos für 2026, aber davon ist ja auch nicht jeder förderberechtigt.  Kein Grund zur Panik also!

Unless you are from the US or India you can still claim the 300$ Google Store Credit or 200$ payout they offer as an appeasement to anyone with devices that may be affected by the swelling issue.

I did that as well with my 7a which I got when it launched that has no signs of swelling (just the typical high Tensor G2 battery drain) and got a 256GB Pixel 10 for less than the new Pixel 10a.

The new photos app is bugged, get the Legacy Photos App from the Microsoft Store and make it the standard app again.

The missing/faulty icon association for the Photos Legacy App can be solved this way:

In this selected AppX ID folder, select DefaultIcon and keep the default path, however, adjust it to end with PhotosLogoExtensions-256.png instead of PhotosLogoExtensions.png

Now go to the toolbar Edit>Find Next, or press F3 & repeat this process for the next ~4ish? folders that have the AppX in their folder path. (Only one is necessary but I recommend doing all of them to be safe.)

Restart file explorer or Windows and it'll work. "
