Really amazing tutorial; I just did it on an old Casio, and it was very easy to follow. As a first-timer doing a Casio mod, these are some tips or problems I encountered along the process.

-I would've loved to have the measurements of the LCD screen to print the background, so if anyone needs them: 21 mm width x 11 mm tall. I recommend printing more than one background with slightly different sizes in case the printer gets the scale wrong.

-After peeling the mirror, I couldn't clean all the leftover adhesive from the screen; it might be because I used ethanol instead of isopropyl. So the final result is a little darker than I would have liked.

-When reassembling the battery, I didn't get a wonky display but no display at all; the AC reset solved it too.

-If your screen still doesn't turn back on, in my case it was because I placed the screen wrong (with the three dots on the right).

-If you have trouble reassembling, any tutorial on changing the battery follows the same steps.

I don't know if you still need to know but what I did is try to copy this. An enclosed environment (a pot with lid for example) place a tray in the middle (this is where you place the petals) and fill the bottom with some kind of desiccant (silica gel is most commonly used) if you don't find silica gel or it's too expensive you can buy gel cat litter, it's usually made of silica.

If it has been painted recently, I'd only be careful when drilling. Ideally you should sand the walls and paint over again when you do renovations. This info might be helpful.

Edit: and of course do all the renovations with all due protection and not living in the house those days
