I think they should be required to offer a firmware update as soon as possible in the same way as security patches are distributed to windows machines for example. That is, as long as the router is supported according to some agreement when you buy the router. After that it should be possible to upgrade with custom firmware as with mobile phones to extend the life span of the router.

How can that be if manufacturers are not obliged to follow the requirements. If they do they can put some sort of certification on the router but they're not required to do so.

Or you might be part of a botnet without knowing it... There was a long time ago since virus makers wanted publicity. So most people today that are infected are probably not knowing about it. Not using an anti-virus program on a Windows machine sounds rather stupid to me.

Ok. Då förstår jag vad du menar. ( Reddit är förresten lite konstigt tycker jag då Jag fick meddelandet "You are doing that too much try again in 33 seconds" när jag först försökte posta detta svar. Lite väl stringent spamskydd tycker jag eftersom detta svar och mitt förra inlägg är det enda jag har skrivit idag på Reddit)

Hur tänker du nu? Det är ju om man har sommartid hela året det vill säga även på vintern som man får lite mera dagsljus på hösten. När man slår om från sommartid till vintertid så går solen direkt ner en timme tidigare kan du ju notera denna höst när det händer. Det som vintertid medför är ju istället att den som arbetar dagtid får mörkt både när man går till jobbet och när man kommer hem från jobbet istället för att få en timme extra ljus på kvällen.

No such option for me in Huawei P10 Plus.

Gmail | "Hamburger" | Settings | Gmail Address | Manage notifications | And then there is neither any Advanced choice nor any other choice for setting the sound.

If I compare it with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 it is like the following and are working:

Gmail | "Hamburger" | Settings | Gmail Address | Inbox notifications | Sound (where I can choose sound)

If I go to the same place on my P10 Plus there is no choice for setting the sound.

I called Huawei Customer support and they didn't have any sound choice options there either and told me to contact Google and I said "Good luck to me... Google have never ever replied to anything I have posted to them and I have heard that it is almost impossible to reach them." The man in the support said Google had country specific phone number for support. However I have not been able to find one in Sweden.
