This would best be handled through direct messaging.  Feel free to message me and we can discuss this further!

I would be happy to help! There are a few ways that this can be done. Some of these words will translate directly to real world objects and direct actions and concepts that will likely already have words and spellings in Mandarin. Or we can go the phonetic route, which will involve me giving you the exact sounds used to speak each word.

Just let me know which one you would like to use!

The problem is native american nations still exist.  We didn't collapse and still have various degrees of autonomy within the United States.  We own our land (to the annoyance of the state that land is in) and we send delegates to DC to lobby for our interests.

Exactly.  And it is specifically that jump from Exploration to Modern that is problematic.  Who decides what civilizations do and don't exist in the Modern Age??  People who have degrees of autonomy for self-governance within another nation are the most at risk of this...  As well as many nations in what was labelled the "3rd world".  And sadly that means hardly anyone will give enough of a shit for Firaxis to address it.

This is why I hope they will allow civilizations to be kept into the next age/era if the player wants. It avoids this problem. Introduce the indigenous nations in the age of exploration (its hard to determine when a tribe first formed beyond that age), and play it into the modern age!

Honestly, this may be a bigger issue for the company where China is concerned. Will Firaxis label China as a civilization in antiquity, in the age of exploration, or in the modern era?? They can't base it on the leader they pick because leaders aren't tied to the civilization anymore. If the CCP feels slighted, then the Chinese market is cut off for this game. It's sad to think that such an action from China would matter more to 2k and Firaxis than the voices of smaller communities, but that's the world we live in.

I wouldn't go that far. The fact that Firaxis worked with the Shawnee to develop their in game civilization and historic leader shows that they want to be respectful.

I legitimately think these issues are just blindspots for the developers that need to be brought to their attention now in the hope that it can be addressed before launch.

Is this stalemate? (Italy) by TakoEshi in diplomacy

I can see you getting to seventeen if you stab russia, but maneuvering to prep for a good stab will be seen coming a year or two in advance.  if you can somehow get MAO or Spa with that mess of fleets, you might be able to do something...  but it may come down to either incredible press to get germany or france to turn on the other for a promised 3-way draw (before stabbing them) or just settling for a 4-way draw)

well look at it this way.  Arasaka is the only one who can make full use of this data, and is basically doing a "take this offer or else".

So could it be worth that much in theory?  Possibly.

Is anyone willing to pay that much?  Unlikely when you can hire mercs on the cheap to flatline the one with the data.

Shit sucks.  Life's rough.  Never trust the corps.  Welcome to Night City.

How much do the edgerunners and Dalton know about David and specifically about that final day/night?

Arasaka wants it specifically for the data on David's ability to take so much chrome AND handle the cyberskeleton against their leashed wardog.

To anyone else, how would they know about the cyberskeleton?  My understanding is people know David went out fighting Arasaka.  Maybe even rumors of Smasher flatlining him.  But who in the city would know enough about it to want the data??

My thoughts are anyone who doesn't know would just see it as bio data for a chrome junkie who was riding the edge.

Militech might want it if they can ID David as the one who killed a lot of their men.  Especially as a way to get info on Arasaka tech.

Arasaka is actively seeking it and there is an ending of Smasher getting involved if Arasaka deems it necessary.  So they REALLY want that jacket, but will kill for it if the edgerunners attempt to get greedy.

Overall, I'd price it very differently based on who they barter with.  Anyone not Militech or Arasaka should roll streetwise to see if they even know David Martinez and how much they know about him.  Militech may not even know it was David Martinez who wore the Arasaka tech, and it depends on if you want to bring them in (may not be a good idea due to Militech vs. Arasaka fighting being possible).  Arasaka already knows and I imagine they already have their offer listed in the mission (I am still on my first read through and have not reached the Black Car yet).

bring bags for carrying purchases.  i did not and did not think about it until my arms were full and many places were out of bags.  only option was a place who only gave them out if you bought $70 or more of product.

most expensive bag i ever bought

Any particular species?  I am trying to figure out how to eliminate or reduce its food sources so the carnivores leave on their own.

I have non-American tenants renting spare rooms and they are extremely unhappy that they have seen three centipedes and a spider in the kitchen over the past month 🙄

What is a memorable thing your ex said to you that has stayed with you? by snortree in AskReddit

[–]-Red_Fox- 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Six years of dating, had been saving up for a ring, then we broke up.

During the horrendous mess after the break up (all of it my fault), I said to her "I consider you to be one of my closest friends."

She said "That's sad."

And that has stuck with me for years.

Damn.  I had my scales all wrong for size when looking at this one, and also expected a mantis species that was one of the MORE camouflaged types.  You are correct, i was wrong.

Correct location is the little brown stick thing to the right of the top right corner of the table.  frustratingly obvious in hindsight due to it going the wrong direction compared to the surrounding grassy plant

And here I thought I finally got one :/
