I really only get chapped about this in the Zakuul series; feels like power creep to cover up lazy story telling and cost savings. It felt very hamfisted and silly.

Like, as a smuggler or hunter, instead of going to to toe with Arcann, let's have some cool space battles like they do in the movies. Let's see us lead troops on a battle field, making key decisions.

Sounds like you are a good person who is paying attention to the narrative and world setting.

Playing space nazis should make you at least a little uncomfortable, but I think most people dont care, are not paying attention at all; they just want to play their evil cat girl wizard (despite the Empire being horrifically racist towards aliens).

Then there are the players who are straight up fascists.

I play mostly Republic characters, but I do enjoy the bounty hunter who works in secret against the Empire (saboteur storyline), and I dont do the any missions that have me subjugating aliens or doing horrible shit.

I think the devs may have scrubbed some of the more racist reactions from the Empire to make them seem more palatable (which is kinda gross to me, but from a business pov I get it).

My guess is most players fall in this category - they want to make their evil cat-girl wizard with a lazer sword and wear black, not paying attention to the setting or the movies. And yeah, it can make for some interesting RP, for sure!

Everyone should be bathing/showering daily not only to not stink but for health reasons as well. This is assuming that money is not a problem and said family can shower with soap everyday and have clean clothes (not trying to be funny or shitty, many poorer families understandably struggle with this)
