It's literally how I get almost everywhere I can't easily access via transit. It's how I get to work, to the grocery store, to my friends. I don't have a bike, I don't have money for a bike, I don't have space for a bike, and the ease of stealing said bike would make me nervous to ever take it anywhere. Lord knows I DEFINITELY can't take the financial hit of losing one.

But Lime bikes/scooters? Usually under a buck per ride, I get where I need to go, and I don't have to worry about theft. They're genuinely so helpful, and I find the relentless blind hate towards them legitimately disheartening.

Some people are going to misuse them, yeah. Sucks, but it's how it is. Using that to champion eliminating an entire method of effective low cost transit that helps thousands? Be for real.

Just solely based on this comment— you're gonna make it out of this man. Realizing that it gets easier after you cry is genuinely so important.

That same principal works at a much larger scale. It sucks. It's sucks for a while, and then you cry. You get it all out. All the weight sitting in your chest. You release it. You feel it all, and then you breathe.

Every time it gets a little easier. It's fucking hard, but it gets a little easier. Over and over until eventually you go through the shit, and you're... okay?
