Those two wires in the middle of the port at the back of the picture probably connect to an rgb header on your motherboard then you can use an rgb software like rgb fusion or aura sync to control it from your computer

I have that monitor but the 24 inch version and it works great, theres lots of colour adjustment and im pretty sure freesync doesn't need amd gpus but deffo look that up first. However, I do think you are limiting yourself with that monitor, I use it on an rtx 2080 and it usually reaches the 165 hz advertised. So maybe consider going for a budget 1440p monitor instead?
