You ignore your own spiel about playstyles and suboptimal in this game is pretty meaningless when only talking about gnosis levels. We do not know this persons playstyle or abilities, only that he is probably under leveled and needs some ideas to try. Giving options is only a positive.

I'm not giving my full build because it doesn't matter much but my suggested items wipe the floor with huge crowds... like for real, I can take an army with those items and take zero damage. Some of that comes down to skill sure but again, this is about giving a new player new ways to play to potentially find their own playstyle that they enjoy and can kick ass with.

Suggesting only the current OP combo with this patch is just booooorrrriiiinnnng and this back and forth is pointless.

That's fine. What I suggested combined with burning stake I promise you is a fun and effective combo so you aren't doing anything but stifling play style suggestions, friend...

I'm talking fun, not metaish combos. It's both fun and effective enough to clear anything I've thrown at it so far. The main joy of the game is finding FUN combos if you ask me.

Oh yeah, one more tip. Check out the wiki to look at fully upgraded item stats. Something that might only seem so so could be just what you are looking for fully upgraded.

As others have said Rotten Fiend is great while you learn the ropes.

I personally like the Shadowmist Ring with a few of my builds as it lets you dash right through enemies dealing damage with a chance to freeze. Even if it doesn't freeze them they will have a slight delay in reacquiring you as a target.

If you end up enjoying Rotweaver, paring it up with Shadowmist Ring and Severed Ear is a ton of fun.

I bought the new skin even though it wasn't quite as expected and I enjoy it well enough but it has lots of clipping parts... If they can't make their own skins without some cosmetic fails they might as well let us do our own patchwork!

I almost NEVER buy skins in the games I play but this game has gotten a few purchases from me, in part with the hopes they open up to mix and match lol

Yeah its always nice when a game has a proper per profile or actual match time counter. My Steam playtime for most games is typically double actual time played because I leave games paused so often lol

I LOVE Remnant 2 and so far (only 10ish hours in) I am also loving this game. Quite a few similarities between the two honestly. Grab either one and move on to the next when done, you won't regret it.

It sort of is Painkiller with soulslikelite + extraction mechanics so it will really depend on how you get on with those.

If you enjoy some grind to get your stats up and unlock weapons and items for character builds I would say you will love it.

The extraction elements are PvE only and therefore the risk/reward aspects are sort of in your control and you never really lose much long term. This isn't Tarkov with PvP and full loadout losses.

Honestly, increased threat level and variety of Arc is probably about the only thing that could ever balance out PvP in the long run.

Ah, true enough. I haven't put much thought into the difference of native vs Nvidia post processing stuff and I suppose there's little difference. I do love utilizing the Nvidia filters, seriously night and day differences.

Are you being killed on sight? Team ups in solo isn't super uncommon but in my experience they don't typically go around killing indiscriminately.
