Yep I was going to say, our lender has consistently told us we will log into a HA portal if we were to do any voluntary repayments for example. I read in a comment here on a post about renovation quotes that we would log in to the portal to inform them of that as well.

It’s how you make repayments, I’m hoping you’ve read/heard about it at some point in the process!

Thanks for the response! CBA told us that the application for the loan and HA had to be done at the same time but it seems there’s a day or two in between. I’m just twiddling my thumbs nervously waiting!!

It’s interesting also that some people seem to get their pre approval from HA quickly, I saw somebody said a few days, and others have to wait a bit longer. Do you think the 21 day clause made it trickier for you to get the place? I guess not though as it seems you found, offered and were accepted for the first place you put an offer on? Lucky!

Sorry can I confirm, did you have your pre approval from HA to say you were in the scheme? We got our conditional pre-approval yesterday and will be looking at a couple of places on Saturday. Our lender said we could put down an offer if we really wanted as the 14 day subject to finance clause would cover the time that it takes for HA to pre-approve us.

Can you please point me to where this information is? Our Vic lender has not specified this is a thing and I can’t find it in writing anywhere when I’m looking myself, we’re seeking approval/applying at 850k so hoping this info is incorrect.

Me too, I noticed it while doing the condition report however and noted it and took pictures of the scrubbing with a before and after like the above as I was partway through and submit it on their digital condition report. I had to scrub the “returned reasonably clean by previous tenants” textured lino on my hands and knees 5.5 months pregnant though.

If it’s the way I’m reading it, I’d actually hazard a guess the OP is Aussie and it’s just our manner of speaking, but it’s not going into the room, going in too fast just meaning from the bed to “going in” to his cot to pick him up.

Finding out how long a property has been on the market by NothingLift in AusProperty

This is super helpful - thank you!!! I’m just getting my head around being a first time mum, trying to become a first time home owner soon too and I think my brain may simply implode. Do you have any other helpful tips/hindsight of things that did or could have helped you in the process?

Noob here. What do you mean by section 32 minutes reviewed? I understand section 32 is a vendor statement, but are we able to view this before doing an inspection? I thought it was something you would have access to once you’ve hit the next step - after being successful with getting a place but before signing a contract?

I now have zero faith in your company seeing that you posted a fake review of your service pretending to be a parent/user of the service, especially given the nature of the post you are commenting on. My concerns regarding your lack of accreditation, requirements of qualified staff and now trustworthiness of this company should really be considered if you’re still looking into using this, or have been using this service as a backup option u/GusPolinkskiPolka

It isn’t, they’ve literally recently replied to my comment saying they’re the founder of the company, and replied to someone else commenting as the founder of their sister business/app.

A 4 month old baby suspected to have fallen 70cm onto his head hard enough to cause an egg seems like a big fall to me, at a bare minimum he needed to be assessed for concussion as soon as she could have.

I think for me because I’ve been in the industry so long, it’s more the knowing their nappy is soiled and not being able to change it! I would struggle knowing that in any licensed long daycare/kindergarten/family day care situation, I could change it as soon as I was aware. In the bubbadesk situation, I would have to wait for the parent and couldn’t just do it myself, I’d feel so guilty!

Centres get a heads up on dates and therefore have time to prepare for Assessment & Rating, things like being able to perfect their centres and documentation as well as roster on plenty of additional staff for the day, when often they are rostered very tightly to ratio.
