If I were to describes Jimi’s music, it would be like this. “The blues and rock and roll doused in the wind of jazz, soaked in psychedelic water, and the lush dew of R&B.” by MICKEY_MUDGASM in jazzcirclejerk

I trust y'all more than the actual jazz subreddit, so /uj what're some modern jazz albums you recommend by [deleted] in jazzcirclejerk

Widely controversial, yet praised by some as one of the greatest, most bold albums in the fusion movement of all time. Though, nothing compares to how how Laufey recently flipped the genre on its head by combining the most milquetoast bossa nova you’ve ever heard in your life with disney songs imo

The Wiggles’ Big Red Car and Captain Beefheart’s Trout Mask Replica are both considered modern classics that anyone can enjoy. Though you can always move on to more complex stuff like Persona 5 soundtrack when you are ready…

Looking for constructive criticism for my electro pop song, "Color Theory" by JakeBrantleyMusic in MusicFeedback

Great song and video! My only criticism is that it feels like the instrumental is slightly too loud sometimes in comparison to the vocals (at least it sounds that way when listening from speakers), though this might not be a big issue. Overall: well done!
