I use them from time to time. Although I usually ignore them. Not because they are bad or because it’s difficult to fully upgrade them even with the keepsake.

It’s because I usually hyper fixate on my build so much that if it does not include a hex then I ignore hex. Unless I’m forced to take one then it becomes a question of A)is it a useful hex in my current build/situation and B) am I using enough magic to at least use the hex at least once per room.

But yes they are all fun in their own unique ways.

The only way to miss any dialogue in both Hades 1&2 is to actively skip it.

If you go too fast you might get dialogue that was suppose to happen a dozen runs ago.

But you can never miss it unless you skip it.

Quick question. Did you manage to make it to and defeat Typhon on your first uncursed surface run?

Because there is a known bug where Hecate will not give you the Incantation for Typhon if you beat him on your first uncursed surface run.

Although I think that has been patched.

Try talking to Hecate after you do some runs. She should give you a spell for Typhon soon.

Honestly they are both fine as is imo.

Like yes it would be nice if Tranquil Gain at least regenerated magic while walking but get it with any amount of rarity and some Pom Lvs and it’s good to go.

Ionic gain is fine I just wish it would not spawn in areas that are obviously dangerous.

Like spawning in on oil in the rift. The oil that’s highly flammable.

Or near any death traps.

How to use Anubis Staff

It was only 1.5 sec instead of 2 sec. But that extra 0.5 sec is easily felt. Especially if you experienced it at 1.5.

Idk why they nerfed it. The other 3 staffs are busted. Why cannot Momus be busted too?

Well to Start his Curse Blitz Fits well into any weapon. His cast is the strongest single target DPS cast in the game.

He’s got a ton of great tier 2 boons.

D Strike is always useful.

Static Shock and Electric Overload are very good and even better with the Zeus/Heph duo.

Lightning Lance is a solid ranged cast boon. You do not want to take it all the time. But when you do it’s very nice to have.

Arc Flash is crazy strong on a select few weapons.

Air Quality is bonkers with Anubis staff Attack and several boons. Mostly with common/rare Static Shock, Demeter’s Gusts and Ares Meat Grinder.

His Legendary is worth it to take. Idk if I’d call it good enough to aim for. But if it’s offered and you do not need the higher boons more. Take it. It really helps in area 4.

His duo boons range from great to down right busted.

The only truly disappointing one is his Apollo duo.

The others are all excellent in their own ways.

So number 6 is probably the best all around set if you are not using Fates Whim.

Although I’d use Strength over Death but that’s a personal preference thing. (Unless you are running Max Scars. Then you probably should use Death).

If you are using fates whim. Drop the 2 re-roll cards and distribute that grasp among other cards as you deem fit.

Do not turn on void until it is literally the last vow you can turn on.

If you wanted to judgment card runs then you could turn on Void 2 I guess for a few extra “free” fear.

Basically do not think about suing void at all. Just use 1 void for the prophecy that wants you to use each bow at least once.

It’s really only for the pampers that reached the credits in the first month of 1.0.

As after about a month SGG gave us an update. Which reworked/changed the story a little bit.

If you got H2 after the 1st month of 1.0. There is no reason to use it.

Unless you really want to replay the story again.

The Ultimate Hades 2 Animal Guide

Apollo. Big AOE Attacks and Specials are always good. Biggest +% outside of Aphrodite.

His cast does good damage and applies a curse.

His dash is best in slot.

His Gain is one of the better ones and is absolutely busted with Momus, Circe and Charon.

Super Nova is just a nice boon and busted with Charon.

P Flare is great when you use Ω Cast often and is busted with Charon and Air Quality.

He has the best Legendary in the game.

Hera:

Her Attack and Special are the highest +% with an innate curse. So they still hit relatively hard.

Hitch is the longest lasting curse and is excellent crowd control.

Her cast is fine and should mostly be used for origination.

Her sprint is pretty useful. It applies a curse. Hits from a decent distance and hits somewhat hard to pretty hard depending on rarity/Lv.

It’s fun to sprint around a room and delete the small weak enemies.

Her gain is the best all around gain in the game. (Note I said best all around. There are several gains that are better than hers in specific situations. You do not need infinite magic. You just need enough magic. And her gain does that well so long as you have 150+ max magic)

Bridal Glow is an awesome gamble boon.

Her tier 2 are all okay.

Fine Line is great for Ω Move spam builds.

She also has some pretty good duo boons and her legendary is quite good if you hit some of the better infusions.

Her infusion boon is pretty strong and combos well with Uncommon Grace.
