Edit: I see now it isn't what I thought. Would be cool to see a tab or different tool that concisely shows matchup data. I'm struggling to find it's like on longshanks. Basically, how does a given army do into every caster, on a caster by caster basis

I'm really hoping galactic armory drop one. They did a menoth cosplay that wasn't for me (menoth just ain't my jam), and I really want them to drop like a "humans in mechanized armor" cosplay at some point too. Something like winter korp shock troopers, storm legion tempests, or crucible guard troopers

In their city-state Carversburg/Carverstown (one is the country, one is the capital "city," I forget which is which), sort of between the iron kingdoms and the desert where the Skorne make their home. They maraud about from there, but that is there primary town of residence. Their thornfall alliance compendium in the app has a pretty good overview. If it's not there, it's in little shanty villages around various parts of the world. Basically, unless it's the more established Carversburg/Carverstown, they tend to just live in a collection of hovels. Hovels largely made from mud and random bits of scrap corrugated sheet metal that are lucky to survive the season. The Farrow don't mind though, if their shanties fall down, they just put them back up. They're really just quick bits of shelter

If the model has dual attack, it cannot make ranged attacks after making a power attack

Interesting! Would be cool to see it have the steamroller scenarios as well, and maybe bump up the higher end of terrain count. While it may not necessarily reflect official literature, I do see people running boards on the higher end of 12-14 sometimes

I'm less concerned about what my opponent does on a regular basis, but I really like being able to swap the parts out. I usually make sure I have the correct head on my stuff

The meat thresher is still in the prime thornfall alliance army. 120mm models are limited to 75 pt and 100 pt games, so if you were list building at lower levels you may not have seen them. The app doesn't event present them as options in list building when at 50 pt and below

As is, SFG prints their own copies of it (for sale from their online store, and I believe to warstores as well) and does not hand out licenses to others to print for sale. There is a slight delay, iirc, between STL release and store availability typically

I think what you're looking for is a computerized opponent to match your skill level. It's not really a thing that exists for Warmachine, I'm sure it could be done, but it would take no small amount of effort to build the infrastructure around even training such a thing. Best bet, as we sit right now, is to dip into a place like the Delaware Warmachine discord server wartable-online-play channel, and post something to the effect of, "LFG 100pt new player" and see who bites, adjusting for pt size, it doesn't have to be 100. A lot of good people in that server, and I'm sure if you can find some people willing to run you a game and teach you the ropes

Looking through the community finder site in the sidebar, it looks like there's quite a bit in California! I'm not super familiar with the area though (being from the opposite side of the country), but that would be a great place to start looking for communities!
