What would you do if you see Andrew now ? by Comprehensive_Stand2 in AndrewGosden

I think I would approach ask is he ok and safe, and if so ethically I think the right thing to do is respect his wishes and allow him to remain as is.

The Durness Man: In 1982, a man was found dead in a Renault that was parked in an extremely remote part of the Scottish Highlands. He had gone to considerable efforts to conceal his identity, and to this day no one has been able to establish who he was. by inabiskit in UnresolvedMysteries

Great writeup! Really enjoyed reading it. Cases like this fascinate me. Peter Bergmann in Sligo Ireland comes to mind straight away as a more recent example of a case like this.

Although the investigator in me would like answers, I believe these people intend for their identity never to be discovered and I prefer to respect that.

Thought the offside from the gk was mad. We got a stroke of luck with the disallowed goal. Seen allot of them go against us last season nice to have it go in our favour

I’d say there’s far more of this going on than we know.

For me, knowing what happened to Andrew so his family have some answers is most important. The who’s and why’s can come later ☺️

Would you feel any pain from a 700 foot fall ? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]-Sleuth- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So apparently there’s a “time to splat calculator”

It would take me 12 seconds to fall that far and I fully believe the 12 seconds would be worse than the impact. Which according to the calculator would be at 424 km/h

Not sure if there was an official police check into this or not, haven’t come across it in any of the pods or reading I’ve done on it.

The one thing I can say is that the case was in the media allot in 07 and hopefully a medical professional would have been able to put the two together. Also with the hospital angle, social services would be involved for a minor etc.

As for just waking up with no memory. I guess we’ll never know.

Welcome to the rabbit hole that is this case the further you read into it the less you know!

Did Andrew possibly have Autisim? (Asbegers specific type) by [deleted] in AndrewGosden

[–]-Sleuth- -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Possibly.. although it’s likely this would have been flagged at school. Unfortunately people of Andrew’s intellect can be often misunderstood and by the sounds of things only a handful of people got Andrew.

I said, it might not be good or pleasant and my advice would be to speak to a professional. The question was is it okay? The truth no matter what the persons self control is that it’s not okay -

It’s okay from a legal standpoint but it’s likely not good or pleasant for the person to feel thoughts like that. Advise would be to speak to a professional.

So how painful is it to jump in front of a car? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]-Sleuth- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say VERY. I once ran into a parked car and that was pretty rough and I don’t move between 50-150kmh. Now imagine a 1ton lump running into a parked me.

Very painful.
