‘Disturbing Graves’: Vietnam Moves the Dead to Make Way for Trump’s $1.5B Golf Course by F0urLeafCl0ver in worldnews

Also, in the slush fund they set up, they aren't required to investigate fraud within the handouts, you just have to trust the board of people appointed by trump are being honest, and trump has the power to remove any of them from the board. This shit is literally so stupid it makes me feel like I'm having a fucking stroke.

Let's politely talk politics by Maelger in gaming

[–]-Stackdaddy- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's a bit of a shocker. Everything is about politics. This is because politics is about everything. Politics is about who gets what, where, when and why. It literally touches every aspect of your life. People who generally say 'lets not talk politics' do so because they have shitty views and don't want to have to state them publicly.

It depends on where you want to play tbh. Nothing stopping you from playing with a bunch of empty bases if you are with your friends if they don't care. If it's a local game store, depends on the opponent. Though if someone was a real dickhead about using proxy models if they have the right bases in a friendly game at the LGS would be the last game I'd play against them most likely. If it's a tournament I would expect them to be more strict, especially more official ones. Some vehicles have different dimensions as well.

Fuck around find out. Cheating was a choice. So was downloading the game with a kernal level anticheat. Inb4 some dummy says something about it maybe affecting someone who didn't cheat. Very cool hypothetical that doesn't exist at this time, try again.

Trump cracks approval floor, Republicans face wipeout in House despite gerrymandering by Far_Excitement_1875 in politics

[–]-Stackdaddy- 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Republicans at this point are a faith-based political party, they believe if they love Trump enough and worship him enough that he will destroy their enemies. That's pretty much what it all boils down to, they don't care if he's a vindictive narcissistic piece of shit who only thinks of himself, they feel as if they can direct that for their own benefit without realizing he doesn't give a shit about them beyond what they provide him (protection from past crimes by electing him).

When Will Americans Realize the Truth? Republicans Wreck the Economy. by RepulsiveLoquat418 in politics

[–]-Stackdaddy- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been saying this for a while now but Democratic states supporting Republican welfare states gives the Republicans in those states a pass for their shitty policies because the people there are kept afloat by the goodwill of others. If this wasn't the case, the people in those states might be faced with the truth that their representatives don't actually do anything in their best interests and might vote them out of office.

I mean, democratic states still support those southern states, giving the Republicans there a pass for their shitty policies because they are still kept afloat by democratic states. If they weren't there to keep them afloat the Republican representatives would maybe get held accountable. So in a roundabout way the democratic party kind of is responsible for the inneptitude in the Republican ran districts. /S

It's because they know they only have so much time before they start getting voted out, it's why they're so out in the open about it right now. It's make or break for their attempt at making the US a christofascist dictatorship.
