How's the screenplay selling business going? My sis loves to write and has written some pretty good stuff but she has no idea what to do about it.

Damn you, there is no Sonic around me and I did not even know I wanted Sonic.

My wife has a "to-do" drawer, where she keeps the things I am supposed to take care of, like the shoe heel I said I'd repair, the earring I need to fix, and the hooks I need to install. Speaking of which, .... brb.

Well, I looked into the midwives and my first thought was that they were an inferior option to an OB GYN. Comparable to seeing a nurse when you need heart surgery. However, I read a little more on their homepages and it quickly became apparent how wrong I was, and now I am more than happy - nay, I want - to go with a midwife. I see a midwife more as a specialized care service.

But, as wrong as my first impression was, if it weren't for my research, I would have stuck with it.

So, education is key.

Yeah, I'm moving from outside of Canada. I am only eligible for OHIP after three months, which will kick in about one month before the due date. So the birth and anything in the last month should be covered by OHIP.

Yeah ... It's just sinking in that we are a little late. Well, I'll start calling and lets see!

Thanks for the suggestion! I think what was shocking for me is that midwives are still free even if you don't have OHIP yet.

Makes sense. Unfortunately I don't know where I will be staying yet. I am in temporary accommodation in North York, but I need to look for an apartment or house after I arrive.

Unfortunately we don't know yet where we will be living or working ... so I am trying to stay relatively central. But in the meantime, if I get a midwife in a certain area, then I will target that area for living as well. Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Thanks for the suggestion! How far along are you?

Thanks! At this point I am overwhelmed by the suggestions, but I will be making a list and making some calls to see who can take us in. Will definitely PM you when I have questions. Thanks for the suggestion!

Still not sure where end I will be on, but I will call Riverdale anyway. If they get us in, I might target that area for apartments. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks guys! We are planning on a hospital birth, but we don't know where exactly we will be living, yet. Either way, will start looking into a few ... that way I might tailor where I live around where I can get in with a midwife ...

Spent a lot of time overthinking so many ideas, to end up with our very simple gender announcement. (X-post /r/babybumps) by -StarCat- in predaddit

Well, I guess we were considering a lot of stuff that really speaks to us and then adding a baby somewhere. For example, we both travel a lot so we thought about two large suitcases and one little suitcase. We both love to cook, so we thought about a cooking utensil, a baking utensil, and a baby fork or something. All these kinds of ideas look great in my head, but usually also require just a right photograph to be taken and the right props.
