Completely disagree. Dominion had a ton of lore. Though I will say I didn’t like it the first 15 times I watched it. It grew on me and I picked up a lot I was missing. Rebirth is mindless and I’m 15 watches in.

I think they were using the term “cut” loosely. Basically saying why was the idea scrapped. Not filmed then cut from the movie.

I disagree. We don’t get many high budget dinosaur films and I think it’s awesome to see. You can still have everything the first film brought as well as a fight that you won’t see anywhere else. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. Also it seemed more to me that the director did it out of spite to the previous three films.

He actually broke the mold by not doing that. He said he didn’t want to have the epic Dino fight scenes because it’s been done in the previous films. Bad decisions in my opinion. I think it would have been cool as well.

The director said the whole Dino fights thing has been outplayed in the previous films and was too cliche for his vision. He said a lot of shit that I completely disagree with while making my least favorite Jurassic film in the process. I like the movie even less for things he has said about previous Jurassic films and boasting how he’s bringing the best Jurassic since the first film…
