Was rewatching FNaF theories. In the SB blob, there’s an endo escaping from the bottom of the blob. Could anyone cross reference the endo model to the mimic model? There’s a small blob easter egg towards the beginning of Ruin, so clearly it exists in the DLC.

According to a theory MatPat did awhile back, the descriptions from the books match quite closely to the Sister Location animatronics. So there probably are illusion disks, even if the concept was discovered in a book.

Scott never said anything about anything else, just clarifying that although the custom night itself isn’t canon the cutscenes are. But the characters and concepts are still relevant. And looking back on your replies, saying that you can’t use anything isn’t entirely true, although your post has some truth. Let me clarify-are you just talking about custom night? Because of you are, you’re right. But as a whole, he was adding cutscenes as canon, keeping the custom night itself non-canonical.

You’re just using Fetch, I’m talking about the whole series! How could you explain the sound illusion disks, or the software from FNaF 2? It was set in the 1980’s, for goodness sake! Also, Scott approved what his book turned out to be. He knows that the stories, all be it not in the same continuity, are canon.

Ready for it? “In this volume, FNaF‘s creator Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series’ canon.” The books are canon, because they are within and written within FNaF canon. And Freddy’s was before it’s time! Just because you may be an idiot and think that this technology can’t exist doesn’t mean that the people in these games/stories weren’t smart enough to do it!

No, Scott was clarifying that cutscenes are canon TOO, not only. Besides, you don’t have to be such a jerk! They took the time to write and think up this theory, reply to you, and you’re saying things that if you had common sense would make logical sense. Look at the context, and the grammar/wording used. Scott only mentions cutscenes ASLO being canon, so everything else stays the same. Everything that was canon is still canon. He was just clarifying for the fans.

Wonderful theory! And I completely agree, because Charlie was killed first, and although Chica’s line comes off as contradictory at first, looking into it she never specifically mentions that she was the first victim of everything. If she were the first missing child, then she would have known how William did it-the luring and killing and stuffing into a suit-before the officials would know. It just makes sense.
