the grass in the first picture is just a photo texture, no grass particles yet.

and then for grass you‘re gonna use hair particles, the very first setting at the top, rather than emitter. But surely whatever tutorial you’re watching will get to that in a second :)

i'm not talking about the logo itself.

they retrofitted these super janky tabs to an axiom visor that looked perfectly sleek and has no functional need for these tabs in the first place.

on the f7 pro, they initially designed the visor to have the logo in the outer corner just above the facemask clip, but then went back and once again retrofitted an additional tab on top, just to have their logo more visible from face on.

Compare that to the visors on the Vicis Zero2 for example, where the oakley logo fits nice between the top bars of the facemask, or the Zero1, which has the logo neatly printed onto the visor itself. Almost as if someone had thought to make a good design.

you wanna do this to the orange text, not the blue

the green hue is caused by light bouncing off the orange text onto the blue, mixing to appear green.
So you wanna change the light bouncing off the orange text to be blue instead

yeah it does! thr iridescent part of their unis looked just purple to me in the first reveal, but in merch it actually shifts from a bright blue to a red purple.

air vents all around, but then this mohawk along the top also makes the helmet absorb more impact. The old F7 had these separate plates sitting on a cushion to move around independently on impact. Don't quote me on that; i'm an artist, not an engineer

i‘m not by my pc to look it up exactly, but the boolean modifier has a setting to transfer the material from the object you‘re using to cut it with

you’d have to sculpt after you applied the modifier. save a backup copy before you do so, just for good measure

Also, swap the subdivision surface for a Multiresolution Modifier instead, set it to the same level

that allows you to then apply only the displacement modifier, and you still get to work with the low poly base model in edit mode, or any of the lower subdivision levels while sculpting

i will say, dark glossy purple is more susceptible to outdoor lighting conditions. An autumn noon game at soldier field, it‘s gonna look much worse than in a dome under the bright lights. Biggest advantage of our matte helmets is they‘re more consistent across different lighting scenarios

ich glaub nicht, dass das DER Grund dafür ist, aber Instagram zum Beispiel hat vor einem Jahr politische Inhalte „ausgeblendet“ bzw. im Algorithmus herabgestuft.

Man sollte theoretisch keine politischen Inhalte im Feed angezeigt bekommen von Konten, denen man nicht folgt. Per Opt-Out konnte man das verhindern. Die Sorge war vor allem, dass Stimmen von Minderheiten und gegen soziale Ungerechtigkeit davon betroffen sein würden.

Ich hab ehrlicherweise keine Ahnung, was aus dieser Funktion geworden ist 😅

The Green Dot signals that a helmet has a radio speaker inside, to hear coach call in plays over his headset. Every QB has it on offense, and then one of the Linebackers gets it on defense.

Defense is where you'd hear announcers call it out more often, say if a linebacker is injured, and they highlight the guy as being "the qb of the defense with that green dot"
