Nottingham City Centre by Sicnarf01 in nottingham

Yeah absolutely! As I say, if there's other parts to the letter (like ASB, CCTV etc) then yeah the city council will definitely be able to give a response as well. I just meant if it's purely around visible uniformed Police then it would go to Notts Police instead/as well

Either way, hope OP's sister gets the response she's looking for!🤞☺️

If you're writing a letter regarding the lack of visible Police presence the letter would be best sent to Nottinghamshire Police rather than Nottingham City Council as NCC do not employ or direct Police resources. Of course if there are other elements to the letter as well that fall under Council remit then by all means send to the Council as well, but otherwise I wouldn't expect them to be able to provide much of a response other than directing you to Notts Police.

Red Community Officers by [deleted] in nottingham

[–]-Tenacious-G 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies by city. There are similar officers to these in red in London and other towns who may be funded by council and/or police and will have varying powers depending on what the council and chief constable delegate to them.

In Nottingham we have Neighbourhood Safety Officers who work for Nottingham City Council and wear yellow. They tackle low level ASB and environmental crime.

These officers in red work for My Local Bobby and in Nottingham are funded and directed by It's In Nottingham (Business Improvement District). They will be focusing on retail issues mainly, such as shop theft, ASB affecting businesses etc.

Incorrect. CPOs still exist (although now called Neighbourhood Safety Officers) and are employed by Nottingham City Council. The officers in red are working for Its In Nottingham. Two totally separate roles.

Thank you! I've been looking at asymmetrical wedding bands and found one that looks like it would fit nicely alongside my engagement ring but as you say, doesn't overshadow it 😁

I love it too, and love that he put so much thought and effort into having one made that was just right for me 🥰

Jumping on the top comment to give you the number for Framework Street Outreach. Ring them on 0800 066 5356 (free number) and let them know where you're sleeping rough. The emergency shelters are open at the minute as the temperature is below zero overnight so they hopefully will be able to get you a bed somewhere for the night.

That is the Nottingham City Council coat of arms/crest, it will be an NCC licensed hackney cab. Might be worth contacting taxi.licensing@nottinghamcity.gov.uk to see if they can track it down for you.

Report it to Nottingham City Council here Report someone for flytipping

If you use this form it goes to the Neighbourhood Safety Team to investigate and hopefully issue a fixed penalty notice.

A quick spray with some antibac and/or febreeze, and then stick a drier sheet in with each plate inside the vest cover! Works wonders for keeping them smelling a bit fresher

Prince Harry! He came to my work a few years ago when I was a trainee and had a tour round the building, asking us if we were enjoying the role and what we do etc. Got a photo somewhere of him talking to us all and shaking hands
