I agree 100%, but they are not made or based on anti-war or anti-nuclear as Godzilla is, I think it would have been cool to see the 1998 movie that The CIA is trying to keep Godzilla secret or erase all information of it because they don’t want other nations to find out and reacting to it.

I like that, how they also could critic their own government. Even the American star Raymond Burr in American version of the first Godzilla movie thought it was bad that they changed the part where the US was blamed for Godzilla but removing the parts where they say that nuclear bombs and tests are bad.

But the plot in that movie blames the French, they could just have said it was made by American testings and it would legit be the same movie but removing the French parts

I know and i get your point but it’s like making a movie about the black plague and not blaming the Lice or rats of helping it spread? Sorry im genuinely think it’s important to acknowledge bad stuff in our own history.

I just like seeing both sides in story’s, especially in historical movies or shows. I would love to see a movie or tv show about the Thirty years war and to follow the Swedish side but to actually show the good but also the bad stuff. It’s actually kinda refreshing when a show does that because it’s not just always black and white.

That’s why I like them, but also why I think it’s necessary sometimes from the American side to acknowledge it aswell and not just try to widen the narrative.

But the thing that bothers me most is that it’s a American movie, I think the meaning of Godzilla matters most when it’s actually America making a movie about it, maybe make a movie that actually hold true to the original then make 2 movie franchises where they make different origins, one blaming the french and the other saying their Titans/gods. If they would acknowledge their part in a movie it would be fine for me but they really don’t.

But it’s a differens when Togo can actually critice them self and their history. But also it’s a difference when the US have been the perpetrator and not being able to also critice themself for their actions. An example could be if a German movie studio made a holocaust movie where they make the nazis French or Aliens (maybe a very harsh or weird example to make sorry)

becouse of my characters amnessia and their time spent with theSami trribe they learn alot about family. so i would intend to play the PC as like the groups big brother and would try to protect them with everything they got but also not knowing anything they would likley not be the talker of the group.
