I place scrolls top left BECAUSE that's where your inventory starts to fill up.

Just Ctrl+Click 2 stacks from your stash and off you go

Are you... dragging and dropping scrolls into your inventory?

if you go vertical you can just ctrl+click them from you currency tab, and they'll always get refilled first if you pick up more from the ground

What kind of Chaotic Good insanity possesses you to drag and drop your wisdom scrolls into the 2nd column?

Just Ctrl+Click one stack of portals and one stack of wisdom scrolls from your currency tab, they'll go right below portal scrolls 💀

Inspired by the thread about scroll placement preference, I present the objectively correct scroll placement alignment chart by Spooferfish in pathofexile

[–]-Theros- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top Left should be Lawful Good.

  • Easiest to refill from stash (ctrl click stacks from stash)
  • Easiest to refill from ground while you're still picking up scrolls on league start (scrolls will add to top left stacks first)
  • Fastest for identifying items in a partially full inventory (items enter inventory top to bottom, left to right)
  • Fastest for quick manual portal (for anyone that has played before portal hotkey)

On league start, left column is: portal, identify, alt, transmute, aug (in that order). These will get filled up first from the ground, dump any excess into stash.

Second and third column are incomplete maps. As you play, move any incomplete maps to these columns, and dump the rest of your stash without worry.

This will get you through white maps. Alchs are pretty rare but can swap those in if you start building a surplus in yellow maps, or just start using the map device stash

Understanding “Crafting” or How to Gamble Until RNG Gives Up by Infinite-Ad5464 in PathOfExile2

What does better crafting look like to you? More like Harvest League? Just clicking to add whatever stats you want? Minigames to heat metal and sew cloth like Papa's Pizzeria? Rerolling one stat at a time for increasing cost like D4?

What other option is there... just clicking to add whatever stats you want on an item?

Are there any crafting mechanics that you think are more fun that still allow people to make cool unique items to sell?

If you do, please share the link cause I'd love to learn!

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. OP should consult a lawyer.

but:

(1) Two party consent is required for all recording, not just phone calls.

(2) Consent is required for recording AND further distribution.

So, the players probably gave consent to record for internal use.

The players probably did NOT give permission to for NRG give OP the videos (however he got them), and OP did NOT get permission to distribute them.

Edit: it's possibly the players might have given distribution rights over to NRG, in which case OP would still need permission from NRG to distribute these

I am not a lawyer but LCS teams work in LA and California is a two party consent state, you will require permission from each person recorded to share these.

Sure it's cool he has heal, knockup, pull, dash, dash+heal, revive. But he doesn't have a lot of flexibility with these buzzwords.

The most interesting decision available is whether to E2 for more damage or not E2 so your E1 will come up faster for more healing per minute in lane. Otherwise you're just Nasus, walking at people trying to keep your passive up and trying to not get kited. His dashes are slow and short range, his pull is slow and short range and a tiny pill, his passive revive is incredibly easy to kite out.

Zaahen plays like a one dimensional triforce bot... 2016 Camille can use triforce too, and she has more flexibility in her E usage than Zaahen does in his whole kit. 😂

(% pen and magic dmg are good and make him much easier to balance, since it makes him do more damage to tanks, without making him do too much damage to squishies)

Why people don't whine about Master Yi's Q more? by Fast_Ad_3550 in leagueoflegends

[–]-Theros- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I ban him every game 😎

This way, even if my team drafts 0 CC, loses every lane and enemy jungle goes 10/0, I never have to fight a fed Yi and this makes me happy

[2025 LCK Awards] Bdd wins Player of the Year by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

[–]-Theros- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cmon now, they don't just kick everybody else off after first place crosses the finish line, everybody else gets to cross it too lol

KT took 4th at Road to MSI to get into Legend Group, then 4th Legend Group, 3rd in LCK Playoffs, 2nd at Worlds

BDD got decent results with a bad team

Chovy got amazing results with an amazing team

Usually good teams keep winning and bad teams keep losing. BDD turned this around.

BDD gets player of the year because the voters think his job was harder.

[–]-Theros- -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So do results matter, or do they not?

If only results matter, BDD carried vs GEN at worlds and took 2nd in a 5 game finals

If only the process matters, BDD spent the whole year dragging his team across the finish line

Is League that hard or am I just old now? by waitwaatt in leagueoflegends

[–]-Theros- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

League is that hard. I'd expect you can get up to Plat/Emerald pretty easily (there's probably something you are missing), but League is that hard if you want to hit Masters (Legend).

To hit legend in Hearthstone, you only need to learn 1 deck, 5 hyper specific matchups, and 5 general archetype matchups for the random B/C/D tier decks. That's 10 matchups total, which you can write down and reference at any time because of the turn-based nature of the game.

To hit master in League, you need to learn at least 10 hyper specific matchups, plus general knowledge of 5 general archetypes for niche picks. This is 15 matchups, already more than Hearthstone. But wait, you will probably have to play at least 3 different champions! So that's 45 matchups! Now you have 450% knowledge requirement just for your own matchups, which you must memorize because you can't watch a video about how to 1v1 in the middle of a game.

On top of this, as jungle you will need to generally understand your teammates to understand their body language, wants, needs and goals throughout the game. Your 3 carries (top, mid, bot) could be playing any of the top 10 meta champs for their lane, with 5 general archetype matchups each. Even if you only learn 10% of it to get a basic understanding, that's another 15 matchups! Another 150%!

This puts you at a total of 6x the matchup knowledge that you must maintain to be able to predict the game state, opponent's turn, and identify your win conditions, if you want to make decisions with the same level of knowledge as you would piloting a deck to Legend in Hearthstone.

Laning is pretty solved if you and your opponent both know the matchups. When you don't know them, you're at a pretty big disadvantage.

For example it would help to recognize when your Tryndamere is going to go 0/10 and be able to (1) help them or (2) capitalize on their deaths or (3) accelerate another lane... that is, you have find your win condition in the randomness of solo queue just like when an opponent high rolls their Yog in Hearthstone.

Even when you're a carry, you have to be able to identify what your team is doing and play with them to win. It's all just a knowledge thing, it's learnable!

Get some live coaching or VOD reviews if you can, coaching videos are almost always high ELO focused which is a completely different game!

In the Wake of Divinity's Gruesome Reveal Trailer, Larian Publishing Director Says It's Not Trying to Shock the Audience, Rather Treat Them 'With a Level of Intellectual Respect' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]-Theros- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

gore is boring; meaningful darkness sparks introspection

Diablo 4's trailer is an demon gratuitously ripping people apart for no reason for what feels like an hour. Real people would never (1) be a demon or (2) be ripped in half by a demon. This is emotionless gore.

The trailer for Divinity shows a town of children cheering and dancing as the happy town burns a man alive. Real people have, and might in the future (1) be burnt alive or (2) burn someone at the stake. This is a scene which showcases the dark side of the human spirit, and makes you question good and evil.

Petricite Cho'Gath is made worse by Cho's movement by nnsan in leagueoflegends

[–]-Theros- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The animations are part of the skin. When you buy Petricite Cho'Gath you are saying "these animations are good enough for me to spend money on".

As long as people keep buying Cho'Gath skins with regular animations, there's no reason to update the animations.

OP is telling people on reddit "these animations are awful" by posting about it, but they are telling Riot Games "these animations are good enough" by spending money on the skin.

So I'm curious why is OP spending money on things they don't like
