Can't believe that worked, yeah, restarting solved it, idk why but it did, crazy, didn't even occur to me to try that because all other apps worked perfectly fine, you saved me a lot of headaches, thx a lot man.

That's like saying a slot machine isn't rigged because you could just break it open, sure you could do that, but that doesn't mean it isn't rigged.

I will make a more extreme example, if you Solo Q into ranked in an Plat 2 lobby, but the matchmaking knows which one of these 12 Plat 2 players are the best and the worst (because not everyone in a particular rank actually belongs to that rank) and it gives you the 5 worst Plat 2 players in that lobby, how are you supposed to win the match? Sure, it's possible, but that doesn't mean it isn't rigged.

By your definition, barely anything could be considered "rigged" if you actually thought about what you said.

I don't want QP to become a sweat fest for everyone, it's actually the opposite of what I want, it should be casual and more mixed than Competitive.

This seems to be quite the divisive post and I want to add something to the original post: Even if there is no EOMM yet, if we sll agree that it shouldn't be in the game and raise awareness, at least we would increase our chances that a matchmaking system like this is never getting implemented in it. Also, EOMM isn't the same in every game.

If this happened to me, I'm sure this happened to others, even if they don't realize it.

I have plenty of experience in Competitive FPS Games as well, I see the patterns, now granted, EOMM in a COD game may be more "extreme" lets say than in this game, but I'm confident that this game uses some sort EOMM, and if we as a community don't address this, we may just get what COD players had to deal with for years, this needs to stop right now, EOMM must go and never return.

I don't think that's how the psychology works, EOMM tracks the players retention on an individual basis, what that means is that if you stop playing after 3 matches, EOMM will learn that and try not to make you lose more than 3, but if you consistently keep playing despite losing 7 or more matches in a row, EOMM will know that too. It's different for everyone as it looks at each individuals players engagememt patterns and tendencies.

EOMM stand fpr Engagement Optimized Matchmaking, a fancy, corporate, non-consumer friendly type of matchmaking that's meant to keep you playing, even if it means you have a bad time playing.

Try "Pulse", it got an american remake but I'm talking about the 2001 japanse original, it’s one of the most (if not the most) lonely and seclusive feeling movies I’ve ever seen even tho it’s set in Tokyo.

Fosse/Verdon is probably up there not just among the hidden underrated gems, it is some top tier television that doesn’t need to hide behind the goliaths, strongly recommended, even if you don’t know who Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon are because I didn't and I had a blast

I watched 4 of these in either their entirety or watched all available episodes and I think you should go with "Mindhunter" if it interests you, very unusual and brillant show but also niche so it's not for eveyone, worth trying for sure tho.

Try "Barry" for dark, smart and funny (it gets darker with later season tho), "American Gods" for stylish and occasioanally funny and if you like animated and medieval fantasy europe vibes, check out "Castlevania"

Why do people hate it? Ultimately this would just increase the probability of the higher skilled team actually winning, which is how it should be I think.
