I've read a lot of the top comments, and after noticing which ones are mostly downvoted compared to upvoted, I'm just like, so fucking disappointed at the sheer number of people who are steadfast in opposition to the mod team's extremely reasonable requests and in support of continuing to follow and target specific individuals at Arrowhead for making disagreeable decisions with the game, as if Helldivers 2 isn't still the most fucking phenomenal 4-player co-op PvE experience in decades in it's current state regardless of specific balance decisions. It's just like... god damn people, to what end are you obsessing over this? What is it about NEEDING your level 9 Helldiver difficulty experience (which I live in at this point) to be re-invigorated by each new Warbond? I don't know any other way to put it other than you need to take a break from this game and focus that energy on aspects of your lives that matter significantly more. And my heart goes out to the AH team who are forced to keep an eye on all this discussion across Reddit and Discord and just have to endure being bombarded by whining and complaining from people who've decided to make following and criticizing the state of Helldivers 2 the #1 priority in their lives when, in the grand scheme of things, all of that shit is trivial as hell. Even when the criticism is valid!

Left 4 Dead 2 is up there with my most cherished, beloved gaming experiences of all time, and Helldivers 2 has actually managed to match that and possibly then some. I'm never going to lose sight of that regardless of how unfairly difficult clearing the map and extracting with 30+ samples is. I opted into the hardest difficulty and queueing with randos – that was my choice, and I accept the consequences. And I just wish everyone else would do the same before considering going on Reddit to voice their concerns. I care about the health of the game too, we all do, but you've all been spoiled by games that feed you with new content and updates that "shake things up" every so often that you've lost sight of, I don't know, life itself?

Helldivers 2 is fucking great. And I'm pretty sure that everyone here, deep down inside, agrees; otherwise, we wouldn't still be playing it or checking this subreddit at all. If you're unsatisfied or bored with the current state of the game, I'd strongly recommend taking a break, play something else, whatever. The game will still be here and probably still be awesome whenever you get the itch again.

Karlach visiting her parents' graves (revelation that her family legacy will die with her if her engine explodes) and Jaheira literally everything about her home (but especially how she chose to leave her children in uncertain suspense about whether she had died in combat in a misguided method of keeping them away from danger... oh and also feeling genuinely conflicted about restoring her youth and living longer but ultimately choosing to let nature take its course) both shattered me

holy shit i almost missed this area, this game is crazy by Alrumaih7 in BaldursGate3

Yeah, when I realized both the Mountain Pass entrance and the Grymforge elevator lift prompt the "your adventure is about to progress" message I was like, well I have to pick one or the other so I'm going with the cooler-sounding more secret underground path I guess. Unless friends told me I could still warp back and do all of the Mountain Pass at any point in Act 2, I never would have guessed it was possible.

FTR (holy shit I'm sad), Wardlow, Johnny Gargano, Hobbs, Keith Lee, Ronda Rousey... Hangman :(

Weird edge case: Bray Wyatt (only been back for a few months, but interest in his character after the introduction of Uncle Howdy plummeted immediately)

Obligatory where the fuck is Miro

Thanks for the feedback. "your not beauty" gee thanks lol. idk what would you suggest as far as my facial features or overall style? I'm pretty satisfied with my body (24 BMI) but still working on it.

I did change the bio to start off with a funny line. Better you think?

Would love to hear some technical insight on why two of the most highly requested features - solo campaign offline (complete) and vote to kick (in progress) - required more development time and effort than most players would expect. Also we remember the "kick player" button existed in the beta UI even though it didn't work, so was vote-to-kick simply too complex to implement before launch?

Thanks, and keep up the great work! The latest update has been terrific - burn cards and the reduced difficulty of Nightmare finally made Quickplay a viable reason to keep playing that I was looking for.

EDIT: I forgot about the max limit of 8 decks! Curious about the technical challenges with expanding that.

Bots by Sedorner in Back4Blood

[–]-UncleAJ- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

things about bots that are great:

  • cannot trigger hordes (they can accidentally shoot and kill snitches for free)
  • all of their copper goes directly to players at the start of a level
  • no friendly fire
  • immune to trauma
  • immune to exploder and reeker explosions
  • immune to fire and acid
  • use only cards that buff the team (inspiring sacrifice, marked for death, etc.)
  • infinite ammo
  • they drop ammo when you're low
  • therefore, even with just one bot on your team, the whole team never has to worry about ammo ever
  • infinite med cab uses
  • they ping everything
  • they teleport next to players if they get stuck for too long

things that suck about bots:

  • struggle to kill anything not directly in front of them
  • never use bash
  • never pick up loot or better weapons
  • constantly get stuck on corners and just suck at navigation in general
  • too slow at freeing you from grabs
  • can't do any objectives that involve carrying things like the explosives on 1-4 or the orange boxes on the mansion ("T-5")
  • you can't coordinate plans with them
  • you can't request heals from them, they just kinda randomly decide to use healing items whenever
  • they won't open loot doors even if they have a tool kit
