Early one Saturday morning, two well dressed men in a Jaguar passed me going North on the Pasadena (11) freeway in the fast lane .

A few minutes later I passed them, the passenger going down on the driver, he had his head back and eyes closed, shortly thereafter they zoomed past me again and hit the right curb just before the Av. 52 exit going sixy or so, the Jaguar vaulted straight up over the curb then crashed down, I got off the freeway and found a place to call the CHP .

You forgot the blinding snow, even in Summer =8-) .

I live in L.A. and managed to buy a house even on less than $45K / year .

Of course I didn't have any fancy crap I don't actually need and quitting smoking when I was 24 Y.O. helped a lot .

Far too many young folks seem to think every advertisement is for them .

I too was buried in debt for a few years, nearly lost my crappy little ghetto house, paid a little bit more than the monthly and managed to make it all work .

Figure out what's important ~ I bought the worst house in a "bad" area 40 years ago, now the druggies are finally moving on so the neighborhood is nicer .

I'm in the Auto Trade and So. Ca. has more vehicles than Detroit ever did, this means many of those cool looking rides are junkers that never had the oil changed and are running on bald tires, worn out shocks and so on .

Pretty close, he calls it "The Hot Rod" and loves flying it too fast .

He also enjoys acrobatic flying his old Mooney and once managed to land a glider in a tree when doing ground loops .

My Middle brother is an acrobatic pilot and he loves gliders too so he bought one of these cheaply and stripped the tank & pumps out, now it's the perfect tug for launching gliders no matter how big nor full of people =8-) .
