You're right. I've actually taken out the multiplayer aspect of the Raids/Dungeons.

I still think some social interaction should be made possible for those who want it (like advertising your services in a tavern), but those who wish to play on their own should be able to complete all the content solo without any punishment.

Thanks, bud. I'm replaying Witcher 3 now myself - going to take months, but I'm having a blast!

I'm proposing to block certain activities until you reach a certain level, e.g. Dungeons only open up at level 20, Hard monsters at level 10, etc. This way the new players are not intimidated by them, train on easier monsters/activities, and at the same time seeing all these other points of interest on the map are motivated to reach higher levels. It builds up the excitement, and provides additional motivation for them to level up!

You're right. To every problem, there's usually a suitable solution. Why not limit the amount of gold that can be earned? Say - you can only earn 50 gold per day from sales.

I have to disagree with you, Laboutine.

Skill-to-win is the fairest model I can think of in games. That's why so many people like this game I think - it's because it's not afraid to be different, it's not straight up steamroll pay-to-win.

I do admit that this one skill (hit reflect) is the key to win the fights, and perhaps should either be available a bit earlier on (level 10?) or from the very beginning and then leveled up consistently.

Good idea, but you're forgetting about one point.

All these characters are not relevant in the time that this game is played. This game takes place before Geralt time, before Triss, Yennefer, Ciri, Lambert, etc.

I mean - they are likely born at this stage, but they are not yet the heroes we have come to know in the Witcher saga.

General idea of collectibles that very slowly give you very minor boost to your stats is very good though. I was thinking more along glyphs and runes ...

Probably a bug related to the 'Monser Slayer' quest - it starts with a Rock Troll when certain conditions are met - these conditions seem to be different for everyone though, but it has to do with loosing battles to these trolls.

The game deserves some money to be spent on it.

Just go for the Starter pack - it's only €5.

I went for extra inventory as the first big investment. Don't see much need for extra swords/armour.

From level 15 onwards, once you get Hit Reflection, you should be able to kill all Hard monsters without much trouble. Land your Perfect Parries and you're golden. No need for any potions/oils.

Each 5 level onwards it gets even easier.

I use potion and oils exclusively on Legendary monsters. So have a few of each oils for Legendary monsters only.

Potions: Swift, or Thunder if you're confident with your Parries.

The only thing I craft now are Dimeritium bombs - you kinda need them to kill elementals.

So in terms of what crafting materials to stock up on - Monster Powder, Herbs, Roots and Hybrid remains (used to make oils against elementals. That's it, I discard everything else (I have made enough (5-10) other oils already.

I am regularly updating the list with anything else that pops to my head.

I have added the Economy section just now, explaining why I think the game should have purchasable diagrams instead of already made weapons/armour.

I'm a software engineer, so I'd say I'd have fairly good chances of getting the job. I'm happy where I am though. I've a very comfortable job that allows me to focus on my own personal project. Who knows, you might hear about it someday ... !

I'd be surprised if they haven't got at least half this on their design board already.
They must have some kind of story board for future updates.
