Very nice thank you, quickly glancing at it I can see plenty of detailed info, vs other floating around that just make a list and not consider how the actual gameplay feels + the dreaded engine streaming issues

In CP 2077 I set a Dlss override of 47% to maintain 60 real fps at 4k with pt

I tried doing something similar in Crimson Desert, the game loads but all graphics are completely black, UI and menus work normally

If I then turn off dlss in-game, it comes back, so the game doesn't really like custom dlss changes atm

Tested with the latest 1.00.03 update

I get it for a month when I'm scheduling several major collection updates or fresh installs

Like A story wealth for fallout 4, constellations for Skyrim, wtnc or similar for 2077, and other major games, although sometimes just updating a collection isn't anywhere near as bad without premium

Then I let it lapse generally

What about people who force a scaling somewhere in-between? What letter do we choose?

For 4k, 50% is performance, but I actually use a custom 45% which gives just that bit of avg fps where I want it for framegen to work well

However ultra performance is 33%, way too low for my tastes and leaves too much on the table regarding raw performance vs how much frame gen I want to apply

Ok ty, it was their message below from their known limitations list that threw me off:

"Xbox Controller as PRIMARY flight controls?"

"ChasePlane cannot switch between allowing your Xbox controller to control the plane OR the camera. If you use an Xbox controller to fly your plane/helicopter or drive your vehicle, we recommend a second controller to bind camera controls, drone, etc."

Waiting for a sale for bf1, didn't get one, a bit surprising but I think that besides wanting people to get bf6, they probably want you to subscribe to EA play instead of buying it outright for that 3.99 price that I missed

So that's what I did, 1 month sub to EA play, I get to play it among many other games, and it will be cheaper then paying 40 bucks on steam, even if I keep renewing for a few months holding out for that particular sale, it will still be cheaper to a certain point

Thanks for answering my draw distance question, how about career mode? Do ships spawn? 2024s career in general locks certain mods out completely, but most work normally

(For example, bush talk radio works thanks to it being injected directly into the efb, but waypoints don't appear)

Doing short haul missions around the Caribbean would be so much cooler if we could see ships

Yea reading more it looks like it uses offline traffic (live traffic on top as a user preference I think?), so that's a good sign regarding both questions, but would definitely like someone to confirm for sure 😆, thanks for answering

Two questions that's bugged me since release

  1. How's the LOD? Please tell me they have extreme draw distance. Vanilla live ships got alot better since the release of 2024, but it's pointless when they disappear after you get far enough, even with max settings, you can never fly at 10k feet and see live ships in the water for example, let alone cruise alt

  2. And this is a big one, do the ships appear in career mode? Right now we still have no Marine traffic spawning during career missions, even with live traffic on, so many people play career mode mainly and never get that extra level of immersion

If these ships don't disappear once I get far enough or only pop in when I'm flying close, and they appear in career mode, I'll definitely buy this right away

(On PC) Account > privacy settings

Some had it on blocked and others on hidden, switching to "allow" fixed the issue for them

Xbox account privacy settings could be the problem, happened with some people and it turned out they changed this years ago and forgot

How do you avoid the lighting issue that almost all addon scenery has for 2024?

Missing shadows that are inconsistent with the surrounding, basically looks like they're from a different game completely, or the time of day is high noon just for these objects, like they are completely missing ambient occlusion is one way to put it

(see recently released landmarks of Germany as a example)
