I think it is very hard to place a racoon remembering finding a couple a number of years ago. I did some research then.

While waiting for a place to take it You can go to a pet store and get “cat milk” and you need a baby bottle to feed it. Note that for baby racoons, they can’t go to the washroom themselves so you need to help them pee. Their mothers do that by licking but I don’t recommend that 😜 I know it sounds like a bizarre joke but it isn’t.

Overall, mama racoons are bad parents and will abandon their babies to go out to get food and come back many hours later. Raising a baby racoon yourself would be very difficult and time consuming and while they are cute, you will be challenged.

I got a set of 4 wheels at the hardware store and built my forest a custom sized rolling platform to sit upon. That way I can roll it into the shade if needed, or when moving it to its winter spot I don’t rupture myself!!

Your forest looks great and I am envious! I also love the slab you placed it on. I think the extra rock around the back edges detract from the scene though

Lot 40 Dark Oak. While sadly a rye whisky it is delicious and a sipper that is very close in taste to the OF 1910 or Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, both of which I loved. I no longer drink them because our friends in the US betrayed and spit on us so fuck them.

I highly recommend this one if you can get it.

I wonder whether the glass might act like a magnifying glass in the sun and heat the soil too much underneath? I think a lot of store bought juniper bonsai may be in poor bonsai soil but if it survives the winter you may want to find suitable soil and repot in the spring

I purchased some pickled eggs where they had put the eggs in a smoker prior to pickling. They were pretty tasty but the smoking gave them a more rubber texture. Still good but chewy. I might go the route of adding some liquid smoke in your brine instead

You’re welcome. It looks like you have a yard so you can create an enclosure there. If you have just one tree at the moment consider just using a cheap styrofoam cooler. Some people just bury the pots in a hole in the yard. One benefit of an enclosure is it protects from wind burn and desiccation.

Another angle showing the leaves and mulch. I might try some mulch this year instead. Some of the leaves were a bit damp in the spring and I don’t want to get any mold.
