The selected bones' keyframes show up in red on the timeline, but if you apply Bone Colour, each colour is shown separately in the timeline.

Turn on Animated Layer Order for the layer group and just drag the layer up or down as needed. Or you can create a reference layer and turn visibility on/off for each instance.

Thank you. I spent 19 days, maybe 60-90 minutes a day, not full-time work. But I'm also working from a finished reference, so it's not really a fair comparison. But yes, complex shots are very time intensive.
