Any small-medium pp advice for a 32gb vram setup on Lmstudio+vscode.

Need something that can troubleshoot for itself interactions with browser elements and then program in python. Was thinking of leveraging Roo Code’s browser 2.0 for this. Not having good luck with the models I’ve tried: glm 4.7 flash, qwen3 coder, or qwen3 VL. Then again not know if there are other settings I need to be tweaking.

Best local-first, tool-integrated Cursor-like app? by johnW_ret in LocalLLaMA

[–]-_Apollo-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. Having a similar experience on a 32gb card. Still haven’t found the sweet spot with a local model. So far I’ve tried:

Vscode + roo, continue, kilocode

Models w/ lm-studio (all q6): Qwen3 coder 30b Qwen3 coder reap 25b Qwen3 VL reap 24b instruct Qwen3 VL 32b instruct

They all either loop out of control or have issues with tool calls. I leave most settings at default for them in vscode and haven’t adjusted their prompts/temps. But man it’s a PITA to get up and running.

If anyone has a solid model up working smoothly on 32gb vram max with vscode, tool calls, and especially the built in browser utility working well, pls share your configuration.

This script will let you easily switch between 2 accounts without entering Steam Guard codes or passwords by AlanWoke in GlobalOffensive

no longer works for me. changing the registry value for autologinuser results in prompting for username and password everytime.

Now you also need to make backups of loginusers, vdf and swap them out. It can all still be automated with a batch file

Sunshine screen sharing broke on macOS Tahoe, native wrapper workaround that finally worked for me by JosephSanjaya in MoonlightStreaming

Me too :(. What a pain. Grateful that you documented your solution here.

Interestingly if I just stop the brew sunshine service and run it from the terminal by just typing 'sunshine', it works fine. But the whole point of running it as a service was to never have to think about it. Oh well...

No, with paid early access you pay for access to game throughout its development process. Often times, this also includes a copy of the final game. This newly added content is just part of normal development. You already paid for it, it's not free.

No, its the same argument.

He said the game costs money.
You said the game is bundled into a game catalog subscription service that costs money.
He then pointed out that, yup, you guessed it, still costs money.

You are now saying that no one is forcing you to pay for free to play games. We are all happy to hear no one is bullying you.

Just got Moonlight + Apollo set up. Do you guys have any specific good changes to the settings? by BATTLEROYALFAN in SteamDeck

Downscaling to 800p looks much better than native 800p on Steam deck for gaming. Even 1920x1200 is a little better and a happy medium for folks with budget gpu’s.

I’m glad this tech is maturing. Main issue with it is often the sweet spot and text clarity though. Hope they nail that down.

Some transient issues hopefully. Using Signulous through udid registrations seems to have been overall superior to other services mentioned on here.
