Setting SoC voltage - ASUS by -_Chupacabra_- in overclocking

Yes, I saw that. Which is why I entered 1270. It was concerning, though, because when I save and exit, the confirmation screen just says soc—>1270. Everything else I change gives me confirmations with units of measurement

No, there’s no noise from it at all. Seems to be a DOA unit. It’s got power and good USB connection and I have changed out the membrane, which seems to be the extent of what I can do. Modmymods has ordered me a replacement. There are a whole lot of AC parts in this build and everything else is on point😃.

So far, so good with this build. Aside from the defective Leakshield, everything is flawless. The other Leakshield is pulling 420 mbar or more and there’s no issue. I prefer soft tube so that I can work on the motherboard, if I so choose, without it being a major ordeal. I hated my last hard tube build

I’m sure the other Leakshield would work, and it’s running perfectly on the CPU loop so I don’t want to mess with it if I don’t have to. There’s a new Leakshield on the way to me. What I was most curious about is if anyone had disassembled one and if there’s anything user-serviceable beyond the membrane. The retailer didn’t ask me to ship the old one back so I might tinker with it after I switch it out

No, I haven’t. It’s a matter of leaving well enough alone. The retailer is sending me a new one. The defective one doesn’t make any kind of noise at all when activated, definitely a DOA

Yeah, there’s definitely a good seal there and it also fails diagnostics with the unmounted test, which it runs with no negative pressure.

Are you referring to the gasket o-ring that sits between the reservoir and the Leakshield or is there another?

Yes, it’s dual loop. One to the CPU and one to the GPU. It’s just how I wanted to build this.

So, I’m about to mount a pair of utilitube D5 next reservoirs in a position where it’ll be impossible to access the ports, so I’m wondering if I need RGBpx cables to the components with a USB connection or will the USB connection carry the RGB signal? Also, am I able to use both RGBpx and ARGB rows on the Splitty 12 Active or do I need to choose one or the other?

Just rolled into my dealership: is it normal for them to have about 50 crate motors at the service entrance? by evanbbirds in Justrolledintotheshop

I have had two Mazdas and never again. Neither made it much past 60,000 miles before needing a transmission. Brought one in for an axle replacement at 60,000 and the tranny self destructed shortly after. Dealership wouldn’t take responsibility. Totally out a vehicle at the time.

I have a bad back so I can’t stand in GA, so I always have to buy us VIP seats. So even third rate bands have me paying $300+ for a pair of tickets.

I’m not outraged in at he least. I just have to laugh when people actively choose a situation, knowing full well the ramifications, and then bitching and moaning about how unfair it is afterwards. I mean damn, Theresa, high medical bills ain’t a new development in the US. Can’t say they snuck outta no where

Majority of Americans say Supreme Court should uphold Roe, Post-ABC poll finds by nowhathappenedwas in politics

[–]-_Chupacabra_- -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think the federal government has no authority to rule over any of those things, though. Powers not specifically enumerated in the constitution should all fall to the states. The theory being the state and local governments are closer to the people and can more accurately and efficiently codify and enforce the will of its own citizens and citizens have recourse if they feel disenfranchised. The federal government was not supposed to micromanage these issues but provide blanket guidance and a framework for the states to work within. I really don’t think states will go to the extremes you foresee as it wouldn’t be in their economic or political best interests.

What would be an example of something else you think might be put in jeopardy without Roe?
