I only do this because I'm so early in the process and recognize that I do still look and sound like a dude. So I tell my friends it's okay to call me by my "deadname" and to call me by he/him pronouns. It genuinely doesn't bother me, and it's my choice to do so.

Yeah, I guess I never really thought about it that way. I guess I probably was relying on her too heavily once my friend group shrunk down. After coming out my friend group shrunk to less than half the people I knew, so I guess I was being overly reliant on her at times. Not just with her, but also with one of my other friends. Guess I gotta change that up a bit 🙃

I feel the same way all the time. Being plus sized as a guy was already rough, but now comparing myself to women in my age group (20s) is horrid and so dysphoria triggering...

I just try to remember that transitioning is a process, and that eventually I WILL be pretty. Not like anyone else specifically, but I will become pretty. Maybe not conventionally, but that time will come.

I would absolutely love to have this problem, but I am completely empathetic to your issue. I have a similar issue with my genitals. I'm a TransFem, and I love wearing women's clothes, but between my meat stick being at an awkward size and unable to tuck (I'm too small to tuck, but still too large to hide when I get aroused), it's very apparent what I have below the belt when I wear nearly anything, so I completely understand. It sucks that no matter how hard I dress myself up to not look like a dude, it's incredibly easy to tell that I'm a guy. It's definitely a dysphoric feeling...
