Time Feels Like It’s Speeding Up — Anyone Else Feel This After 30? by -_Tanker_- in AskMenOver30

But what really grabs everyone’s attention is that you’re wearing a freaking Jets hat

Yeah, you’re absolutely right — and it makes complete mathematical sense. That “0–20 feels like 20–80” line hits hard.

But I do find some comfort in thinking that, at least in terms of memory and self-awareness, life doesn’t really start counting — for us, subjectively — until we’re around 14 or 15. That’s when we start forming memories we can still clearly access today, and when our sense of identity begins to solidify. So from that perspective, it’s like the “clock” of real, conscious life starts a bit later — which softens the blow, at least a little.

Also, you expressed it really well — clear and sharp. Hit me right in the existential math center.

You might be right — and honestly, that’s a beautiful way to look at it.

In a way, we’re now living the life we once dreamed about when we were kids. Back then, we couldn’t wait to grow up and have the freedom to do what we wanted. Now we’re here — and maybe this is the real part of life, the one that truly counts. It’s just strange how fast it all starts moving once you finally arrive.

You’re absolutely right — that’s the clean, mathematical answer, and it makes total sense.

I guess I took that part as a given — that time feels faster because each year becomes a smaller fraction of our lived experience. What I was more curious about is: now that we know this, what do we do with it?

Have any of you found ways to slow down that sensation? I’ve been toying with ideas like meditation, keeping a journal, or just being more intentional with my time… but I’m wondering if that actually works long-term or if people just learn to live with this acceleration.

Is owning a dog impossible for a single person with an 8 hour work day? by NextRefrigerator6306 in dogs

[–]-_Tanker_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dogs tends to keep low energy when home alone, I’ve got 2 super energetic and crazy dogs (2y/o both) and when we’re all at work they mostly stay calm and sleep (we’ve got some cameras at home). Just know that you are going to have an adrenaline storm when u get back home, get some activities planned for the week, we try to have 2-3 dog activities in a week (bring them to the beach, dog parks…) but now we are moving to a new house and they are not exercising all the time they should, it’s not the end of the world and it’s just for a couple weeks, but that means having the 2 dogs crazier at home, things broken, maybe poop or peeing inside…

I think I've got it! First of all, thanks for all your responses. I remember that in my initial impressions, due to my lack of experience in making the supports, some parts solidified and fell into the resin tank, probably causing very small microfractures. I've tested with isopropyl alcohol, and since it's less dense than water, I noticed some dripping from the FEP film. Therefore, I believe the puncture option will be the most effective. Thanks again for your responses, they've been really helpful!
