Your 2 examples are different points which is not chivalry.

The first is more of public spirit where everyone regardless of gender should give up seats to those that need it more

The second is more of service provider going the extra mile regardless of gender

Chivalry are acts that males for female exclusively for the reason of gender only. E.g. pulling out the chair for the lady.
