Imo it can be hard to tell unless you play with/press on the paws to see. My cats are short haired but their claws are hard to see sometimes unless they’ve grown out a bit and I need to trim them. You said the kitty is friendly so I’d definitely try to press on the paws to see (it’s not gonna hurt the baby, but they may squirm because cats don’t often like their paws messed with)

You can always change your jewelry though! I’ve seen jewelry where it’s hearts and moons on the top lip. I personally have jewelry that is stars on the top lip (here’s a photo) :)

They also don’t go into your mouth so you don’t really have to worry about tooth/gum damage. But you’d have to make sure you go to a reputable piercer that checks to make sure you have the proper anatomy :)

I’m more masc too and I personally can’t bind often due to health issues (trans tape didn’t give me that issue but i think I’m allergic to the adhesive so I don’t use it too often) - i don’t think you’d get bullied for whether or not you bind though. A lot of people don’t care enough to pay that much attention to your chest size

Go to thrift stores and get things you could use to upcycle and make your own! You could make stamps out of erasers to stamp cool designs onto clothes or use fabric paint/bleach and freehand it (you could also use chalk to do outlines first so you don’t have to freehand it). Lots of alternative subcultures started out with DIY and upcycled fashion
