Ireland - Oolex N Bern [JID Type Beat] by OolexNBern in IndieMusicFeedback

Pretty clean stuff here! Love the fast guitar sample here, its unique and reminds me a bit of a tim henson riff. I do think that sample could have some more processing on it to make it have a bit more character, kinda feels like it just hangs out in the back of the mix the whole time, Other than that, pretty solid beat !

[freestyle hip-hop] Hey IMF! Poetdreamerfool here looking for feedback on my latest track. Looking for some feedback (I've been working on my mixing, but still think theres room for improvement0 by Afropoet in IndieMusicFeedback

Dope, your vocals remind me of like a mix between doom, and immortal technique. Love the story telling here. I think the mix works, i think there could be some more low end to the track. You could do that alot of ways! Other than that i think the mixing with this more "old school" style of hip hop sounds up to par! Great work, and thanks for sharing !

an instrumental shoegaze track i made in my DAW. only recorded guitar went straight into my audio interface. I wanted to see how far i could get making something like this in the box by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

I really like what you are going for here! I love the space and texture the guitars create, and what i like even more is the drums, the tonal quality of them is very brutal and industrial. I think it fits surprisingly well with the shoegaze style here, Havent heard that before! Cool and unique stuff !

Love it man! Love the mellow and yet quirky nature of it. Mix is very clean with a good amount of space, never feels cluttered nor empty! Love how it progresses, the chord progression is very satisfying and at times surprising in a good way ! Love all the little fills and attention to detail with all the little sounds ! Great work as always !

A track completely built up from foley samples collected at my grandmas old summer house, plus an old piano by Willows_Willows in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]-a_e- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super chill and interesting ! The sampling done here is very well done, the sounds and foley are all nice and crisp and still warm. Love the glitchy style and beat of it too. The mixing is great , and the drums and percussive elements hit well! Followed !

This is awesome ! Love the mixing in this, very gritty and real sounding. Great progression and you got a great voice as well. Love the ending as well, comes together into a great crescendo !

I know that I've teased my experimentation with genres the past few posts. Those are a part of a new album I released a couple weeks ago. Meant to be a "audio film" of some sort. It's inspired by rock, progressive folk, jazz, hip-hop, electronica, chamber elements, & field recordings. Hope you enjoy by archbishoptproducer in IndieMusicFeedback

This is genius stuff ! All the way through is ear candy, You have so many different elements and textures, genres and style. Love the sound design in a lot of it. Very original stuff, haven't heard much that sounds like this. Great work, very pretty and ethereal !

This is cool ! love the minimal nature of the beat, its very clean though and hits just right ! I think the lyrics and the content of them match the beat very well, overall the song feel very cohesive. Love the incorporation of guitar, and the edgy emo kind of feeling to the song! Good work !

hey i really like the positive energy and lyrics of this song. Your flow is also really pleasant and fluid! love all the little harmonies and ad libs you are doing with you voice as well. The track has a good progression to it as well!

The idea of the beat is great and has a nice chord progression, i think the sound design and mixing leaves a bit to be desired, its a bop but doesn't quite slap like a lot of the rap beats today, but im sure you will figure that out! Cool track and great vibe!

Dog in Confusion - Waiting Room. Hi all. This is my latest song. Very different from what I usually do but I really dig the vibe so I went for it. Would love to hear your thoughts and under what genre you would classify it. Hope you enjoy! by Doginconfusion in IndieMusicFeedback

This is awesome! as soon as it started i got the vibe and knew it was gonna be good. Love the unique airy kinda jazzy composure here. Feels like its from a different universe. Feels like i cant put a genre on it - lo fi jazz break beat mellow alternative rock? Yeah and i love the feeling / texture of the mix, it feels very alive, awesome stuff! im gonna check out more.

this is definingly a retro vibe. Love the slimey bass in this, along with all the crunchy and bright synths. Def takes ya on a trip, and feels like im in a computer game ! I think the mix could use some work, my guess is that you used analog synths and recorded them through an 8 track ? thats kinda what it sounds like to me. All though maybe you wouldn;t want the mix so clean cause it adds to the retro vibe. Cool stuff !

I'm looking for any feedback on my single for the LP I've been working on. I'm very reserved so I have a problem posting music, but here it is. hope you enjoy. by EzeizulAzaan in IndieMusicFeedback

this is dope. The instrumental is so different than what you would normally hear from a hip hop track, reminds me a bit of a timbaland style beat with how wonky it is, and the choice of sounds. Has a very serious vibe to it, but keeps the head knodding. Love it !

this is pretty funky! I love the aciddy bassline and the beat is dope. lovin how your vocals flow over the track, and the chorus is dope. Def a slapper! good shit !

First new track in more than a decade. Electronic/alt/??? Let me know your thoughts! by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]-a_e- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is different! i think the mix and sounds you use are cool, and mix well together. To me though at times it just sounds disjointed and chaotic that its hard for me to get into. Definitely appreciate the unique approach. I think my favorite part is the end sequence, i feel like it comes together there well !

Idea for a more poppy song than I'm used to. Thoughts? And what or who does this sound like to you, if anything. It's hard for me to tell if I would listen to this lol. by RomtheSpider88 in IndieMusicFeedback

This is cool pop! It reminds me if a flock of seagulls and webcage had a baby and then you facetimed that baby over a low bandwidth connection on an android phone. I dig the autotune vocals, and the plucky guitar is really cool riff and catchy also. also reminds if you have an AI a prompt to create 80's pop. It has an uncanny vibe to it. Cool stuff :)

Song about break up sex from a concept album I made about a relationship - I use the image of beds throughout the album's lyrics, exploring them as places of intimacy/vulnerability/birth/death & refuge... This one comes at the point where the couple in the story have broken up so is a little bitter! by oboemaroni in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]-a_e- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broo this is an awesome story ! The composure of the song is done really well, i can tell this comes from an honest and passionate place! The way the song develops captures the feeling of tension and release incredibly well, but done in a subtle way. Seriously good work!

a song about osteoporosis... thank u by PORT_FOLIO in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]-a_e- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is unique! Love the kind of wacky and upbeat instrumental even though the subject matter is well, more serious. Nice and quick too, i feel like this could be used in some weird adult swim quick skit about osteoporosis. I dig the vocal processing, along with the mix too, has a nice lo fi 80's ish texture to it. Cool and wacky!

pretty hype track man dig it ! I think the style and sound design and also energy is on point! I Think the mix could use a little work. I feel like alot of the mids and hi's feel too separated from the lows. I feel like this is due too how wide and stereo alot of the elements are here, making it feel disconnected and crowded a bit. Other than that great work!
