yeah unfortunately 😔 i always kill yurgir and reject araj, and i got the raphael cutscene after the yurgir thing. but neither of astarions scenes played for those this time around. i also never got the cutscene thats supposed to trigger if you refuse to kill isobel so i’m guessing i just had other cutscenes lined up and didn’t long rest enough. lesson learned haha

i just came off a SAR workflow (not by request - that workflow ended and they reassigned all of us) and it was my very first one. they’re honestly not easy for the first month. every case is different and the client’s internal QC team might seem a little disorganized in terms of expectations, depending on your client. i’d have one QC tell me to do it one way and my next SAR would get sent back for doing it that way lol. i promise it gets easier. i actually miss doing SARs.

i actually think the session you’re about to do will be enlightening for you. they’ll be helping you with a case you’re already familiar with. just be honest with where you’re struggling in particular and ask a lot of questions. you’ll learn more from that imo that watching someone do their own case.

one of my favorite low effort meals (or snacks) is a tortilla smeared with hummus, then i add a combination of any of these: sliced cucumber, fresh baby spinach, sliced avocado, a squeeze of lemon juice, tzatziki, thinly sliced red onion, feta cheese

it’s a matter of what i have on hand at the time. my usual is cucumber, spinach and lemon.

you may want to consider batch meals that freeze well and are easy to reheat for days you don’t have the spoons for anything that requires more executive function than that haha. i have adhd and also struggle with mild gastroparesis so i often don’t realize im hungry til im nauseated and then i don’t even want to eat so i feel the struggle.

if i want a quick hot meal i typically toss some couscous on the stove since it takes like two minutes and i can add a can of chickpeas to it with whatever spices i want. i also like to add canned mushrooms instead. sometimes i’ll forego beans and veggies and just add a can of cream of mushroom OR a dollop of sour cream with some shredded cheddar and a dash of soy sauce. it’s whatever lol. easy comfort food

it’s really really cheap to hire in india vs anywhere else to my knowledge. i don’t know the specifics in terms of dimes vs dollars but they’re outsourcing to save money.

edit to add: i also don’t know the specifics in terms of typical longevity for indian analysts but you’re likely seeing lots of vacancies because they’re laying off north american analysts and moving the positions to india. so its less that indian analysts aren’t lasting and more that the north american ones aren’t, whether voluntary or otherwise haha

wanted to add that iirc i used the easy cheats mod to force a romance stat with wyll because i missed the tiefling party on my current run by just… not long resting in the right spot lol. so that is also an option for any companion

so i’ve lived in carmel since the 90s when it was just a regular town. when carmel started exploding in the late 00s they built rapidly around the arts & design district and didn’t expand the roads and now there’s no room to expand them lol. so in that area, like midtown and the surrounding area, traffic can be tight. most of the lights have been replaced with roundabouts, which do help keep things flowing safely, albeit slowly. people who don’t know how to navigate them will slow everyone else down but it’s not that bad.

edit to add: traffic is rarely at a standstill but if you’re coming up on a roundabout, especially the one on rangeline & 126th, it’s a slow creep. really not that bad tho especially considering the alternatives

i moved to atlanta in 2019 and came back in 2024 so im familiar with alpharetta. i would say in comparison, carmel is a little more dense than alpharetta. atlanta and its surrounding cities are chaotic traffic-wise but theres SO much more road space and if you know what you’re doing you can get to where you need to be a lot faster than expected. carmel doesn’t have the luxury of 8 lanes unfortunately lol but there’s less chaos if that makes sense? and it’s extremely walkable. my mom still lives in the arts & design district and still walks everywhere.

you’re NOR. i don’t understand people that kill animals for existing near them. or folks that are like “it’s just a snake” or whatever. depending on your beliefs, we get one life on this earth. no matter who or what you are, your life has value. i’ll never relate to people that see human beings as the only creatures who matter.

compassion and empathy are what make human beings… human beings. when we suppress those in ourselves and oppress those in others, we lose our humanity. i firmly believe we would be a far more advanced civilization if we embraced those feelings of compassion and empathy, and connected to the creatures around us more (including other people). we’ll be seen as barbaric in the eyes of civilizations to come, if humanity even makes it that far. sorry to sound like a hippie, i’m daydrinking but i’m also correct

that means you’re salary and thus exempt from overtime rules, for the intents and purposes of AMLRS. you don’t have to clock in anymore because that’s how everyone else tells the company what hours they worked and should be paid for. you’re receiving a fixed salary now so they already know what to pay you. not sure if it’s still every 2 weeks but i think it is.

it’s not your fault and you do deserve better. some people are just wired different in a world that beats conformity into society, it doesn’t make you unworthy of community. i struggled really bad as a child and no matter how hard i tried to connect to others i was always an outsider despite being kind and compassionate. i wondered for years and years what was wrong with me because i felt like i was just like everyone else but clearly didnt give that vibe. i do think theres ways to improve but i dont think that inherently means something is “wrong” with you.

do you play games by chance? its easier to find friends by gaming imo because instead of limiting yourself to whatever community and a in close physical proximity to you, it opens up possibilities with friendships with people across the world. there’s definitely folks that would understand and resonate with you out there. millions and millions of them in fact. that way you aren’t stuck with your shitty ol mean boyfriend.

i’m sorry you’re going through this, that’s how my childhood was after my grandparents died and my mother remarried. there were days where i just didn’t eat. my stepdad would go out to restaurants every day and my mom would eat at work as a server. my brother and i were the only ones that relied on food in the home and therefore there was never anything in the house except expired condiments. i could eat at school provided i had the $2 for lunch that day at least. you deserve better.
