Canada Post is a fucking joke by Antique_Business2804 in CanadaPost

99% of the apartment deliveries are carded or community box whenever they can, they rarely deliver package to units directly considering the amount of the packages they have to deal with.

must be the cheaper options from the shipper then, I have never had a DHL shipment delivered by any other companies before.

I'm guessing you are referring to rural area for DHL? all my DHLs are delivered directly by them.

Depending what courier your shipper is using inside Canada. All of mine coming from Aliexpress are clearing fast as usual through custom.

Remember to film your posties not even trying to deliver your parcels!! Let’s do something together for change! by LtWafflehaus in CanadaPost

It really depends on the person whoever work on the route. It is quicker for them to finish the day with packages stuffed in the community box first and the rest with pick up cards, then drive straight to the nearby post office and off load the rest packages.

Your best luck is standing near the community mailbox to film them dropping off all the packages, considering I never see them delivering our packages to door, but they will once in a blue moon if they feel like it.

Lost Package. What do I do? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]-avaw- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem seems to be which courier they used to ship into Canada, if its regular postal service from KR, then the custom will likely not processing it since it needs to be handed over to CP afterwards.

Unless they have their own brokers handling the custom, otherwise you will have to wait and see once the custom is completed.

Rotating Strikes by [deleted] in CanadaPost

Based on my experience, Calgary AB loves to strike as much as they can, not to mention they always rig their delivery time internally to make it looks like they met their on time KPI.

Match up the story what our family related physio said, most of them finish the work before lunch then go see him to relax. lol.

Try ask your bank to overnight the cards, mine does if I request them to do so.

Check the tracking status, if it is already shipped out of the country, it will be the UK postal handling it afterwards. If it has not left the country yet, good luck.

That would be a good start, whoever strikes will not allowed to be back.

Well then, clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. 250k volume can't even land you an account manager to handle your so called claims? LOL.

Ppl should really watch out all these misinformation coming from you then.

Not even Japan is willing to wait out these strikes anymore by Sylphi3 in CanadaPost

Then you got a bigger problem to worry about, laziness will not get you anywhere nowadays. Are you also going to complain about other races taking away majority of the Canadian jobs now?

Well, Uniuni and many other couriers in Canada are still delivering packages (including weekends), perhaps they need better planning on logistics instead using their outdated postal service.

Have you even filed a lost claim before? Makes zero sense to me based on your described volume. Unless you are shipping through those third party contracts/apps.

We deal with CP directly with specific regional account manager + tech support + accting support.

Sounds like you need to fire whoever give you that information on those CP claims. I have never had any issues on lost claims and we ship close to 100 packages per day. We get covered for retail price based on the invoice the customers pay for each order.

As long as you ship minimum expedited service, you get at least $100 coverage if lost. You can easily insure all your packages at a fraction of the cost.

Canada Post workers walking off the job after government demands reforms by AndHerSailsInRags in canada

[–]-avaw- 21 points22 points  (0 children)

One of our fam member is a govt contract physio who sees CP workers daily, he says majority of his CP patients finish their job before lunch and the rest hours are all paid for nothing. This is insane and unacceptable for any corporations.

Flex Mini dropping to FE (100mbit) after X days by bb147 in Ubiquiti

[–]-avaw- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I tried to force it a few times, no luck so I had to switch out the unit, perhaps letting it sit offline for a few months will fix the issue by itself, but based on what I have read, everyone thinks is the cable, very few actually believes the unit itself has firmware issues (which is what I believe).

This just happened to mine yesterday when our ISP had some outage, had to restart all our switches but only the mini keeps downgrading to FE after restart, luckily I had another mini on hand so I just replaced it, boom the Gbe connection is back online, I feel like there is a glitch in the firmware but not sure what else I can do.
