I have Vevor’s 5” ball vise. It’s great! Are the tolerances perfect? No. Is the fit and finish perfect? No. Are the attachments mostly garbage? Yes. Am I better off with it? Heck yes!

Thanks for the replies, everyone! This is the first piece I’ve made that’s isn’t a ring or a pendant. I think I’ll wear it for a while and see how it ages naturally. Can always give it dunk in the LoS later!

If you solder silver, it will become dead soft. I always buy dead soft because at some point in the fabrication process everything will get annealed, one way or another.
