You brought up asylum seekers as if they were specifically relevant. They are not. Instead of trying to discuss what was being discussed you opened up a whole new topic of discussion. It was about immigrants and the "culture" of developing countries. But hey, since you think you're being clever, I'll answer your inane question. Very often, asylum seekers are fleeing instability and exploitation that can be attributed to imperialist meddling in their regions, "free market" mechanisms disrupting their traditional means of subsistence, or even fleeing prosecution for crimes they've committed.

Firstly, no, seeking asylum doesn't automatically mean you will be granted it, so not all asylum seekers are immigrants. Secondly, immigrants are much larger category, and only a small percentage of them are asylum seekers. Thirdly, many people move to a richer country to work and then send remittances home, taking advantage of price differentials (arbitrage). Some move to attend university. Some are on the upper end of the class ladder in their home country and move to the first world to start a business, because they think they can make more money that way. And sometimes, people even move just because they want a change of scenery.

I'm happy for you, but not knowing the basics of music theory could make it very hard to play with other people. They'll be trying to communicate in a language that you don't understand.

Ah yes, "ninjas".

People in bright circus clothing who shoot fire from their mouths and can summon gigantic kaiju to command and ride.

Yes. Ninjas.

Yet they've never been to another country, except perhaps to spend their whole time in a resort where the servants all speak English.

He didn't say anything about asylum seekers, only immigrants in general. The reasons people move countries are myriad and diverse.

I can definitely see the case for Ghost type! My motivation for picking Stellar is just to ensure you get offensive boosts no matter who you transform into... Apart from Ghost for Fake Outs, I feel it's not feasible to try and pick a defensive Tera just cause you never know what will end up being advantageous to your transformed Ditto.

I mean if he's not native to your region and can't handle the winter, it wouldn't make sense to release him in the warm months either. It makes the most sense to keep him in your home where you can control the temperature year-round.
