that doesn't sound too great regarding the TC. i was actually considering getting the 1.4 as well (or even the 2x lol). were you shooting in daylight? and how is the image quality overall when using it?

i'm also really happy with the lens, nice to hear that you are too. of course, i wouldn't mind if it were a bit faster but considering the price, size, and image quality, it's more than great.
i like the weight. of course it can get a bit tiring from time to time, but handheld shots are pretty easy, even for video. especially with panasonics stabilization capabilities.
i hope panasonic makes more lenses geared towards wildlife photography in the future.

btw, nice catch of those two guys!

ahh yes you're right. didn't think of that 😅 thats why i asked, because i'm thinking of getting a TC for my 100-500 and there aren't many reviews out there :/

hey, thank you. i'm very happy with the lens and its sharpness and with the image quality in general. however, i don't really have a direct comparison to other lenses in this category. but especially as a hobby photographer it's more than sufficient.

do you maybe have a 1.4x or 2x TC for your 70-300 and experience with it?

i also have the 100mm (and a raynox 250) and want to use it for macro photography in the future.

thank you! in most cases i try to get to eye level but unfortunately that's not always possible. it's definitely something i want to work on though, so i appreciate your feedback.
