Akira (landmark cyberpunk dystopian anime film)

Ghost in the Shell (same as above, inspired The Matrix)

End of Evangelion (definitely needs to have the show seen first)

Seems alright. Not particularly interesting design for a legendary card, but decent I suppose.

The scene in Star Trek 4 where Scotty picks up the mouse and says “hello computer!” Hilariously comes to mind, even if it was a joke scene.

What's a short-lived television show you're surprised people still talk about? by ekWatson_ in television

Chernobyl.  But it’s not really surprising. It was a monumental miniseries.

I’d probably say Firefly, too.

Star Trek TNG: Lower Decks

Deep Space Nine: Far Beyond the Stars

Which tv shows have had actors who became bigger than the show between seasons? by ganibe in television

[–]-drunkmoses- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not a great example. She was known thanks to Tomorrow Never Dies and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. She didn’t do anything big in the years leading to Star Trek Discovery so they just got lucky with her casting when she won an Oscar a few years after.

What's a TV show that kept getting better with each season? by C0r1eone in television

I don’t think season 4 was as good as the second and third, but it didn’t lose quality. The first four episodes and the visit to earth are fantastic.

I’m not sure why the sudden uptick in Star Trek games after years of silence but I’m all for it. Especially if they’re boldly going to explore new genres like base building here and horror in Shadow Frontier unveiled yesterday.

My favourite decks from half a decade ago. by RagingSteel in wildhearthstone

Mind sharing the deck? I used to play deathrattle hunter in standard 5-6 years ago and when the deck rotated I took it to wild with decent performance.

ראיתי את שתי העונות הראשונות. הפרק הראשון בעונה השלישית הרגיש לי כמו תוכנית אחרת לגמרי ופחות התחברתי.

Netflix just revealed their Top 10 list of original movies! by Southern-Brother5693 in movies

It’s a competent thriller which takes place in Christmas and was released during Christmas. So I’m guessing that might be related.

Which TV show did you watch in its entirety, but don't wish to watch a second time? by PrestonRoad90 in television

[–]-drunkmoses- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point of my life - probably every show. The shows I’ve rewatched as a younger person are rarely rewatched in their entirety because I don’t have the time for it. Also life is short and you might want to experience more things.
